I was shocked that PS was kept on as manager after the relegation last season, but once he was kept on I fully expected them to stick with him till at least Oct/Nov time... Football is ruthless and owners hire and fire at will these days so we shouldn't really be surprised by anything that goes on should we!!!... Carlisle will want a proven league 2 manager in place asap imo and as u mentioned Korban, Pete Wild is one of them no doubt... Will be interesting to see how they setup on Saturday against us at VP and as ever will no doubt be a close game... Good video, well researched & very fair 👍🏻 If we were going to get rid of him it should’ve been either Christmas or the summer to avoid wasting the transfer windows. The American owners were at the ground on Saturday (they aren’t there all the time) and took some stick so I reckon that’s why they’ve pulled the trigger. Crazy to let him bring 3 players the week or so leading up to it just to let him go though 🤔 His ultimate downfall was his stubbornness and doubling down by sticking with his bad signings (cough cough Lewis 😂) and ineffective 532 system. Still, he’ll forever be a legend and it’s with genuine sadness we see him leave, he’s sees risky saved the club from oblivion twice.
@@paulreardon9871 thanks paul, sounds similar to our owner who is German and only comes over 1 game a year but puts no money in with false promises, Lewis has been terrible for you unfortunately I'd have wanted to see him do well to an extent cause he was a lovely lad but every week hes making errors but ultimately like you say with someone like simpson you have to respect what he has done to get you where you are now and the good memories he created, have you got a replacement you like to see come in, in mind?
Ironically they’re going to restructure with a director of football model,and if he’d packed in of his own accord in the summe they may well have had him in that role but I think he’d be too proud ocessentially pick his own successor. My worry is that the owners have no experience of English football and just hope they’re well advised 😬 Goven that he could’ve easily been sacked at any point in the last 9 months it’s baffling that they’ve got rid of him without having a replacement lined up. Korban. Can you remember when we lost 'that' play-off game a few seasons back. Every Carlisle fan was knocking our team, manager, fans It wasn't banter, it was personal. Basically the socials were full of it. We've always had a bit of a niggle with CUFC, but I am glad they were relegated. (Paul Simpson), didn't deserve to be sacked four games in, no-one does. I remember it all too well but it was a video where I 100% had to be balanced and I feel I was couldnt be bothered with another reaction from Saturday I'd become an away team target😂 Personally I never had too much of a problem with them I saw it all but thought it was handbags online only one that bothered me was the booing fire tragedy minutes silence but that was only a single few idiots and I'm sure the majority will be the first ones to condone it

Haven’t watched the video just came for the comments. Some bad blood between the two clubs, is it just young keyboard warriors?? A few players around who have played for both teams, to be expected (Northern clubs) . I would have kept Simpson The best performance was away against Gillingham (got beat 4 1) I know it sounds stupid but should have won We beat a very poor Barrow side MK Dons ripped us to bits to be fair Tranmere was one of those game 14 shots to Carlisle (1 goal) Tranmere had 3 shots and scored two !!!! Now we play Bradford so surly an easy 3 points against Bradfords bogey side 😂😂😂😂
