How come there are instructions on performing maintenance on this item? I have one and it came with extra parts but no instructions on how to install them. Is there an available guide?
My compressor overheated. I opened it and followed these videos to change orings. The pistons looked good, however, when I put it together and try to start it, it only makes a clicking sound, but the piston does not rotate. The piston does rotate manually, but not when turned on. What should I check?
Hello, it's been a while since the video... One question... I have the same compressor. Is it normal that the red valve always releases air intermittently at slightly higher pressure? Maybe someone knows an answer?
You should do a troubleshooting video of your compressor. I just received my compressor from you, and there is an air leak on the left side . It will not build pressure past 2200 psi . You should also let us know what temperature is too hot ?

I'm just new user of smart digital edtition. It works great but it doesn't stop at the stop pressure. If I press START key, the actual pressure goes high but never stops at the stop pressure. It stops at the temperature I set but not pressure. Any advices are welcome!
I have'nt been keeping up with compressors since i bought my Yong Heng 2 years ago, I was looking at RU-vid and saw the Water/oil free Compressor. I retired about 2 weeks ago, so guess what i bought for myself!? No more water bottles in the freezer!
Mine didn't come apart this easy. I recommend honing the big cylinder. Especially if it has alot of hours on it to break the glaze of the cylinder. These are cast iron rings and probably won't seat without it. Also, lubricate the rings, cylinder, and the rod journal before assembly.

Hey, whats the normal work temperature for this compressor?. Mine got up to 52 with 3200psi on the gauge.... I stopped and let it cooling down for a while... Some videos shows 60°C....
I strongly advise people to read the manual that comes with this compressor. The Heat Guage requires round silver oxide batteries or it will not work. The sensor end of the heat guage goes into the back of the primary stage, ( back of lower part of the aluminum part of the compressor pump). DO NOT over fill the compressor with hydraulic oil AW 46. Keep a close eye on the oil window fill to the red mark at the half way point. Less or more can damage your compressor. Watch as many videos as you can find so you will be familiar with setting up, power up the water pump before turning on the compressor, leave air valves open for a minute before closing them. Lubrication is key to keeping it running smoothly so check oil level before using every time, change oil as per manual or when it becomes dark in color. Keep moisture out of your tanks by using additional filters.

There is a parts diagram which is shown in the manual that comes with this compressor. Use it to find the part you need and order the part number assigned to it. Aliexpress provides some parts, filters and accessories.
WARNING: I had a Young Heng compressor rated for 300 bars (4250 PSI), I used this compressor to top of my air tanks to 300 bar which my air rifle requires. The crank case where the compressor cylinders attach fail and exploded throwing the pistons and case framents flying. The rupture disk did not fail. The air pressur reached 4,250 PSI as I reached to open the pressure blow down valve and close the air tank valve the explosion occured. The machine oil level was check before running, the water circulation was checked and found acceptable. In addition I was montering the machine running temp. and was at 57C to 60C all item were in the acceptable perimeter as specified by Young Heng manual. I used this unit for a year about every two weeks. In my oppion the aluminum case is to thin and cannot stand up to the stresses caused with frequent use.
Did you have the crankcase breather installed? I've seen countless complaints like this and every time, the original plug is still on the crankcase filler (where you pour oil in). If it can't exhaust that build up pressure, it's going to go BOOM.
@@hurricaneaquatics Yes it was intalled. The aluminum case cracked where the piston cylinder attached allowing the complete piston culinder, head and piston to fly apart.
Mine just hums when I turn it on. Brand New today, and it doesn't work. Why wouldn't one of these things start. Btw, the water pump doesn't work either. It hums to, but I think it needs to be primed, but how?
@@hengyong820 I don't understand why you gave me your #. I live in, America, and I don't believe I have the capability to call it with my current phone plan. All I know is, this is a brand new matching, but it hums when I turn it on, and the fan now wants to turn but stops. I try to help move it along, but no dice. Do both of the pressure valves have to be tight, or lose when I start this thing? I don't want to damage it.
