@SPSjens then you have to skip ww colors in the mapping. So that will be for each LED a separate fixture as I am just thinking quickly. It is a lot of work imo. Maybe better get rgb version led 🤔. Good luck!
Hi! How did you connect the APC Mini with the software? I have them both linked in Show Cockpit and I've set up a button to control a playback action, but it doesn't trigger the playback on Magic Q. Thanks in advance!!!
Hello dear Starlightjasper or anyone who can help me? I was looking at the code and I'm just starting out with Arduino... I wanted to ask you if you could help me with the following problem... In the Arduino program this appears: ....................................... Missing FQBN (Fully Qualified Board Name) Compilation error: Missing FQBN (Fully Qualified Board Name) ........................................ I want to try to solve it so I can take it to Arduino but it won't let me, so if you can help me I would appreciate it. From already thank you very much
make sure your board is correct and the driver is installed and/or the board is selected. I think it is a bit offtopic here. can you write any other code on it?
Hello Johannes, sure, doesn't matter if you use a mini connect, or stadium connect... any kind of console/wing will do the job. good luck with your project!
sorry Johannes, i read your question too quick... Showcockpit is using OSC, if you can write software yourself, you can translate OSC to midi and vice versa, Showcockpit translates the OSC - Midi - OSC. So unless you can write this kind of software, you're gonna need showcockpit @@johanneserlbeck
you have all the hardware, then you just download arduino IDE software (free) and you copy the code from my github page. That should be owkay to get you going Mauro
Just googled it... seems connection is o issue... but the Chinese software is your challenge. OMG. Check this website. kutop.com/t-500k-4-channels-programmable-digital-spi-master-led-controller.html
@@vahagkirakosyan5432 yes, so if you have set resolume according the tutorial, the rest is pending on your settings in the t500k software. Hardware is just the cat cable. 😀
So you are just using a fader wing and you get midi control? I am getting conflicting information on this. I have been told by some that a wing will unlock midi and others say you have to buy the Rack Mount Dongle.
@@starlightjasper Greetings...''a piece of blue hardware'' to unlock a demo mode of MagicQ is a PC Wing or MagicQ Two universe DMX USB interface? I get the idea about RD Showcockpit talking to MagicQ but unlocking demo mode is a question for my side...Thank you in advance for answer...
One question no one has asked. Is the networking switch required? Is it possible to connect from my MacBook pro’s Ethernet jack directly to arduino’s Ethernet shield?
@@starlightjasper whoa, was not expecting a response on such an old video. I’ll give the crossover a try since regular isn’t working for me. Thanks for posting your project man, you should allow for donations somehow

They have no protection against water, but an ordinary mq desk has no protection. I have chosen the peli because of weight, an ordinary flightcase for this weighs a lot more.
Hi. 1. Is the Alphapix controller communicating with the PC via Ethernet cable only? (Does it need to go through a router or it can be plugged in straight in the laptop's ethernet port?) 2. How would you link more than one Alphapix Artnet-SPI controller, if you run out of DMX universes? Thank you!
You can go straight from your pc to the controller with network cable, and you can use as many controllers as you want on your network. You can have in this case 16x dmx universes. Not sure what you mean with not enough universes. But you can configure each output of the alphapix to a desired dmx universe, so you can eventually duplicate them and you can go up to 256 universes I think, but could be also more. Not sure about it. I will check later on.
@@starlightjasper Right, for some reason I associated the number of 16 outputs to a total number of 16 universes. 1 universe/output. On the manufacturer’s website it says: Control Pixels: RGB: 340 Pixels x 16CH. So my understanding goes like this: 340 pixels x 3 (R.G.B.) = 1020 dmx channels (2 universes) per output. A total of 16 outputs = 16320 dmx channels (32 universes) So your device would support a total number of 5440 led's (pixels) = roughly 90 meters at 60led/meter. Please correct me if i’m wrong. I know there is a 4 output model as well on the market for half the price, so I’m trying to figure out if that would be enough for me.
@@Creative.B www.centralpoint.be/nl/netwerk-switches/tp-link/16-port-gigabit-switch-art-tl-sg1016-num-426451/ for example, just look for unmanaged 1000mbps switch
@@starlightjasper You combine the maxi wing with the pc wing? Have you used the akai apc and the launchpad in live? I'm thinking of getting them, but I don't know how to use it well to take advantage of them
@@Xtr3meEsport I have use it live several times live... works great to be honest. You can use the maxi-wing and PC-wing in combination, but i made a setup with some execute windows in combinations with the Akai and the Launchpad. Looking to add more midi faders to the table to get more out of the system, but as long as there is a complete lockdown in our enviroment... focus has been shifted away slightly for the moment.
