Hi, there's an alternative for the keyboard mode macro and make it work on any screen. By launching an execute. In the special execute, you can make a shortcut to any setup option, including changing keyboard mode
found 17 total of keys and key combos like ctrl+key that not used in magicq. tried to avoid using normal/prog modes, but still not enought free key combos for that.
@@starlightjasper I checked how it works on mac os, and modifier key "option" (It's similar to "alt" in windows) is working in magicq. and it doesn't participates in any default key combos. So option + almost any symbol key can be used for macro mapping. other mac modifier keys doesn't work for mapping to macros.
@@starlightjasper i found how to use alt modifier key on windows. USA international keyboard layout must be selected in windows layouts settings. it adds a lot of additional hotkeys and macro mappings. write me a e-mail to ivan9ef@gmail.com if it's interesting to you.
Cool stuff, Jasper! Can I ask whether the mappings for VIS, PLOT and REC SNAPSHOT are macros and should have a yellow background, or are they also built in shortcuts in MagicQ programming mode? I notice that they are recorded as macros on your macro page later in the video.
Hi Jasper! First, thank for your good project, I want to ask you what you change when you switch between keyboard and key prog. I need to record the macro of that function, for take my mouse coordinate, but i don't know where i need to go to do it. Thanks for your help!
I was thinking about such keyboard. But now I thinking about buying launchpad for additional control . It also can be mapped this way, it has backlit and can receive feedback to change it's colors. it has 3 memory layers so can work as keyboard on layer1 and you will have other 64x2 button for playbacks, colors, palettes, etc. It doesn't has tactile clicks like traditional keyboard and will need to come up with sticking some transparent stickers (I think I know where to get them) on it's rubber buttons. What do you think?
