Hi, thanks for the comment! Video is from late October. Few years back, fall used to start in late September and by mid October or was at its peak but I remember it shifted to end of October because of warm weather.
@@placesworthexploring6960 Thanks Yes the seasons are changing. I am just planning ahead to to time the trip at the right time. It take about 3 days by car to get to Michigan. So, I want to go there when it has the most beautiful colored landscape and decor.
Great photography, but I don't believe that's Broken Rock Falls, unless it's just the uppermost few feet above the cliff where the water makes the big waterfall. The drop view we see immediately following it at 0:37 is The Upper Falls.
Thanks for the comment and the correction about broken rock falls! It was my first time there and I just followed Google maps at the time and added that info in my video accordingly (which is not always correct!) Glad you liked the video!
@@placesworthexploring6960 To see Broken Rock Falls from below, go to The Lower Falls, then follow a trail that looks exactly like the one at Old Man's Cave at 4:36. It will be about 100 yds. or so.

so you did narrows in the morning and overlook trails in the afternoon, right? what would you do if you come back for a second day? thanks, I am going there in May, not sure if it is as crowded as in summer peak times.
Thanks for the comment! Yes, I did Narrows in the morning and overlook in the evening. I couldn't find parking in the morning otherwise I would've done the overlook in the morning. Personally, if I come back for the second day I would cover observation point. It's a long hike but it's easier compared to Angel's landing and you get similar views including the Angel's landing. If I have extra time I will include emerald pool and hidden canyon. Again, there are tons of hiking options and you can't go wrong with most of them. Good luck for your trip!

I am not sure, as you mentioned, some trails are quite long and very much time consuming, for a short one or two day visit I am trying not to do too much hiking, but more like sight seeing kind of activities. the shuttle in yosemite park takes you to all major viewing places, up and down. I am looking for something like that. but my reading so far for zion are all that you have to do the hiking. I will have family members with knee issue, another reason I am looking for not too much walking. therefore so far I am not so sure about zion.
@@ziqiangwang537 Definitely, we were in a similar situation as we didn't have more than a day or so and my wife didn't want to hike too much. Personally, even the drive through the park and the shuttle ride was well worth it. While the Narrows is a long hike, it's considered one of the best hikes in US, and for a good reason. You need good shoes and Poles and it's doable, you can hike a mile or 5+ miles it's up to you. And it gives you good idea of the whole rock formation in the park. @@placesworthexploring6960 sorry, another question: I just read that in summertime personal car is not allowed into the park, so how did you manage it? it says that parking lot are very limited. do you have to park outside the park like in springdale then.take the shuttle to the park entrance? also do I need to reserve online first for just visiting? I mean for sightseeing, no camping ETC. information online is confusing. thanks.
