Colorful Rock Formation, not too far from Atlanta Georgia. It took me about two hours and twenty minutes.
If you're in the area or have been to Smokey Mountains and surroundings, definitely give this place a try and you won't be disappointed.
These gullies were actually caused by poor farming practices of the 1800s but now these canyons are truly stunning.
You can visit with family and friends, it's easily accessible. There's a small parking fee, you can pay online, take the form from the box located close to the parking lot, drop off half of the form in the box and keep the bottom part by your windshield as a proof of purchase.
There's also a visitor center, you can grab souvenirs or snacks. There are different trails you can take, depending on which canyons you want to hike. we did canyons 6,7 and 8 as we were short on time. Parking lot was under construction when we were there, most cars were parked on the side of the road.
