Your came out beautiful and This is exactly how I do mine. Water and leave in conditioner and get and a small comb. I use mousse sometimes instead of gel and use the comb and the curls be pretty but a dryer curl.

I'm 4a,b,c .I have no problem with getting the curl. I'm still experimenting trying to find what's right for my hair. I'm using Cantu now. May try Kinky Curly next, but goal is getting something that feels good, lasts throughout the day, and no white residue on the hair. BTW, yours looks beautiful!
I just cut my hair to this length. So I'm going to try this exact method but with design essentials products tomorrow! I'll eventually purchase the products in this video too!

It's so hard to find what our hair loves in the beginning. there are so many products you just have to find what works best on your hair and that's my struggle lol it looks great on others all the time.
