Can the finishing resin be used to be the final top coat for a dining room table? Is it durable against water stains, food stains and dents from writing on it with pencil and paper?
Yes - with a warning. Do not put any bottle in the refrigerator that has been opened. Also, wait for the bottles to come to room temperature prior to opening any bottle.
For the tail retract you would be looking at our 160 series: robart.com/pages/retracts-tailwheels-retractable-tailwheels For the mains you would be looking at the 635 series: robart.com/pages/retracts-20-55lbs-635-series-mains
You will have to look at the dihedral of the wing and how you want the struts set up on your kit. If you have a large dihedral wing, and you want the struts to be more straight up & down, then you will need an 85 degree.
@@RobartMfg .... This is only a Hanger 9 p-51 65" wing. It has a Saito 100 on it Same as the miss America but with different covering. I wanted a better lading gear it has the wire. Robart sells retracts for them but not sure why there is 85 & 90 degree.
Yes you can. You will have to mount them the same way you would mount a strut on a nose gear. Press in the nose bushing, then drill and tap the sidewall for the provided set screws.
Zap-A-Gap is our Medium Cyanoacrylate. Our Medium has a viscosity between 80 and 120 Centipoise. CA+ is our way of letting people know that the Zap glues are not just the typical CA glue. However, we believe that they are the best CA glues on the market.
I always struggle with PVA (white glue) based glues for plastics...They tend to be a static related glue in terms that they dry and hold only by static than a weld...PVA's work better on porous material like wood and paper than they do on plastics...The upside is they don't mist or fog canopies...I've seen folk use Tamiya liquid fast drying glue on canopies with success but you have to be careful and only use a tiny amount at a time...There is a case that if it's a model and not a toy then it shouldn't see any hand traffic but I like to make sure my models are put together strongly at least...I'm still experimenting at the moment to find a good solution to the issue...
@@RobartMfg I would love to see a complete installation video, as not knowing how to install them has kept me from purchasing them for years now. I know I'm not the only one.
There might be a slight film. I always recommend that you clean the surface will a a high grit sand paper and denatured alcohol. The sanding will give the paint something to grab and the alcohol will take the dust and any residue off of the model.
Zip Kicker has a Heptane base. It should leave minimal residue. You can use a small brush to apply the Zip Kicker to one side and then glue to the other. This will stop any overspray.
Too bad you have to wait 3 to 6 months before you actually get any gear you order from this place because they don't make it until you order it, but they fail to mention that on their site, im still waiting for mine ,then once you get them you still have to make them and buy the necessary taps and drill bits.....
Hi; It would be nice if you can develope a next generation to have a lead harness to turn it off with an exturnal switch. I think you would have a better sale interest for it. I will still get one though. A very nice product. I have a question. is it a good idea to leave the recharge cable to the unite with out always having to gain access. I was also thinking of making a quick disconnect addaptor for it
this video had no help, I have to order 2 net top tubes and parts bags, trying to silver solder the bushing in place, the (Plastic) stopper, melted and now that top is no good, then the other one, trying to tap it, the tap broke in both holes, what the hell is that made or, I used these taps for aluminum engine mounts with no problem.. also I had to POUND the bushing in the top tube???
Voltage regulators should be avoided if possible. They have a slight draw all the time, so unplugging the batteries is required. This is just too easy to forget, and always ends up killing your battery due to low voltage. It would seem sticking with a 1S cell would be optimum if that is enough.
I am thinking about using these to convert my Sierra 1/5th FW 190 gear. I have had nothing but problems with air leaks. These gear require solid air pressure to keep the gear locked down. This has cause lots of problems on landing in particular. I hope this works.
Have had one for years. Love it because you can use it for many shapes, Including placing the pads flat to lay a wing across. Problem is with time the "Rocker Ears as you call them get loose and end up shifting, or falling off easily. Stopped using it for a while because of that. Was looking at it the other day and put Velcro over the "Nubs" and in the "Rocker Ears". Now they stay in position well. Wish I had thought of that years ago.
What’s not said is that when using robostruts you will have to fabricate gear door holders to mount to strut and door. Stock retract door hardware won’t work since the retract unit and robostrut has no real clearance when in up position. Also the wheels will sit a bit higher out of wheel well with these.
hi i'm owner of giant black horse fw 190 2.6m the diameter of wheels is 161 mm and hole axis 6.1 mm may i order a 6 inches wheels to fit in my plane ? i'm living in in France do you still shipping in my country ? Best regards.
Hello. My paint shaker does not shake anymore. All AC current are working fine. It seems that the electric motor does not have enough power. Your webpage does not have support for this particular product.
