Great video!! I've been using Pianoteq for 15 years now and I'm also a big fan of the Casio Privia's! I feel very connected to the both of them while playing, much more than with a lot of the more expensive stage piano's or those huge sample libraries! Great comparison! Tomorrow I'll have my first day with the PXS5000 after ten years with the PX5s! So can't wait! Really love the new keybed as well!
Thanks for doing this comparison, with examples. I wasn’t entirely convinced by reading ik’s description of differences, that that there was really much of a difference, but your demonstration really helped clarify a difference in sound - thanks.
They BOTH Sound so beautiful. I want one of each on both sides! I heard the cp12 before in a comparison test with Other speakers. It WON The sound quality test in My book. Also i prefer this model over the K12's
Thanks, I love your reviews. I love both sounds but prefer the Nord slightly, but if the Numa has better touch and is way cheaper, then the Numa is probably the better deal.
Having watched countless video reviews of digital pianos for the past couple of months I can safely say your videos are the most in depth and informative ones out there, bar none. Thank you!
wich one do you guys recommend? For creating kinetic sand videos , slime , and asmr. I BOUGHT a Tascam dr 40x and it was too noisy I returned it. I ALSO have 2 NT5 mics trying to create stereo sound asmr videos just dont know wich audio interface to get that fits for my asmr videos . something with low noise . PS I'm a newbie TASCAM X6 OR X8 OR ZOOM F3 Or any other ones that are low noise ? .
No doubt that the K2700 sounds great, but I have been unable to find any video's on creating my own sound from scratch. Is it all just inbuilt or user samples?
Hi there, Mr chuck. i have just brought a Roland RC110 and i have a 88 key casio or a Roland bk 5.. Keyboard, do you think i could run the Roland kc 110 & the keyboard together on a power pack like yours please... Im john from England 🏴
Certainly msp5 is better than boring e5 personus , personus is hi-fi system Note : for testing monitoring you should try with a sound in mixing not piano playing 😅
I had an FP-10 and decided to upgrade to a 60X. I regret not jumping up to the 90X and so I will be putting an order in for a 90X. I think I am wearing out my 60X as my keys play funny sometimes. I will put the 90X in my outdoor art studio/office and put the 60X in my living room so I can entertain hubby in the evenings. I have an amp so will plug it into that. I've watched a lot of demos and you are the only person who has mentioned the rubber bit attached to the pedal. I went out and bought an expensive stage mat to prevent slipping and probably wouldn't have bothered if I had realised a mat was already there!!! Also, the bit about turning the pedal sideways is another interesting suggestion. I will try that. You mentioned a lot of things I didn't know about. Thanks for pointing this out. Your review is very helpful.
Thank you Chuck! I just joined our church's praise team which uses the rd88. I've used many different brands before, but somehow never a Roland. This video has helped me greatly with getting used to it. You actually show us how to use it, not just demonstrate sounds. Thanks again!
the K2700 is a workhorse, it does many things well, so it's the main piano and controller in my live set up. Sounds perfect in a mix. The piano's are fairly good, action is a bit odd but you get used to it. It replaced a Nord Electro 5 which sounds very good - though the action was ridiculously loud - and the interaction feels more engaging and natural but as most things Nord, is simply too expensive. Sound wise most major brands have caught up with them. There's a learning curve with the Kurzweil, get into it, it's worth it because you can just about make any sound you want. But, if I have to play piano solo, then I have to get out the Kawai mp11SE, which feels and sounds fantastic but is too heavy and fragile to lug around. The Kurz is a, very versatile, smart music-tank. It's definitely worth it's price.
I don't know if any of them are "better" than the others, only "different". Real acoustic pianos are not identical to each other in sound qualities either. I am coming to appreciate how far Pianoteq has come, it's quite good, and not the "toy" I had once thought it was. I've had times when I actually preferred the Pianoteq over sampled sounds. (And I've been playing piano for over 50 years. I've played a lot of acoustic pianos, including concert grands.)
