Thank you for making this video. I am still having an issue and am hoping you could help with these two questions. I have my notes titles with the short date format, no time, followed by a hyphen, such as “7/20/24 - Bank of America.” 1) How do I create a title that inserts the current date but prompts me to append the title, so I only input “Bank of America?” 2) I am trying to have a default format, where the first line in the body of the note is pre-populated with “ATTENDEES:”, the second line is blank and the third line is pre-populated with “AGENDA / NOTES:” Any assistance is really appreciated.
Great video, thanks for the detailed explanations. Do you know if the pro 2 pads can be used as a ‘looper’? I’ve heard there’s a gap after each sample? Would you happen to have any experience setting a streamdeck XL up for a cam model. We use Chaturbate, Stripchat, Adult works and Streamate and are trying to set up so that the 2 PPV sites Adult works and Streamate web cams turn off and the Obs Token sites continue. Do you know if there is any plugins for this industry for OBS, Lovense toys etc Thanks British_Rosie

I have a Mac with 2 USBC ports with 2 stream deck 2s and a pedal. It says you can’t use a hub, does anyone know how to use these at the same time without enough USBC computer ports?

I am looking for a Zoom alternative, ideally LTD (lifetime deal) or cheaper subscription and a less bloated UI, which would have the capacity to stream music from Deezer, Spotify & other sources during meetings, rather than only in the waiting room - are you familiar with a tool like that please ? Also needs to have breakout rooms and allow a minimum of 25 people, livestreaming to YT & webinar-hosting would be a great bonus but optional at this stage. Thank you in advance for any tips !
Awesome. Awesome. Awesome video. Can't tell you how grateful I am. Only just got my streamdeck, and you've just saved me weeks, if not months, of effort. Moving those pages around, would never have guessed how easy it was. I literally would have been copying and pasting. Likewise converting pages to folders, and folders to pages. I was also wondering how I would go about copying folders/pages to different profiles. (Say controlling VST softsynth across different app profiles), now I know how.
I am thoroughly perplexed regarding the overall purpose of this application, and specifically, the intent of this video. The continuous addition of these inputs, which lack any substantial content, is unclear-what exactly are these inputs intended for? The Mac application appears to be entirely ineffective in 2024. I am baffled by how it gained any popularity; it seems almost farcical on the Mac platform. Conversely, on Windows, the functionality is more understandable since it allows for the isolation of each source and the routing to these inputs. However, on Mac, what is the point of these inputs if they cannot be connected to anything?
this is great content! loved it. ! I'm actually torn right now between getting a glide gear teleprompter to use with 10.2" iPad or alternatively the Elgato for talking head language education type content. Which setup would you choose for that sort of thing? Many thanks!
Can I use the same streamdeck with PC and Mac. Being a CPA, I have some softwares that work only on PCs but my content creation workflow is on Mac. Your reply would greatly help!
Indeed Philips Hue can be switched with streamdeck . I use Hue system still have to setup the light though. Most of the time I just say Hey google lights on or something like that. But it has to connect to the system via the ITTT if this than that.
Alec... Ecamm Live App Audio in some cases is sometimes superceding my Rodecaster Pro II Secondary Channel. When this happens, the audio is garbled and I have to manually switch the audio back to the Rodecaster Pro II Secondary Channel. Seems to happen during a live stream on my M1 Mac Studio. It has happed a few times since I completed my recent subscription to Ecamm. Not sure what causes it but wanted to provide a clarification since my participation in your live stream yesterday.
I really didnt get anything out of this video - you spend half the video on that chart with all the routing, but you didn't actually show much as to how to actually do the routing. I have a sonos ray, with a caldigit ts3. The ray is connected with the optical cable to the caldigit. How do I get people in a discord voice chat, to hear my system sound, while I still get to hear my system sound from my sonos ray? In short, I want the people in the discord voice chat to be able to hear the music I play on spotify, while also being able to hear spotify on the sonos ray myself.
Think this is resolved now as I know you had it working during our Q&A yesterday... To anyone else having difficulty installing the Stream Deck plugin, although I linked to it in the video description, it may be best to open the Elgato market place using the button in the Stream Deck app, and then search for UNO and install from there.
You're welcome Harold! I really enjoyed getting into Uno and making the Icon pack.... Only problem is I now wish I had a sports commentary channel now to really use the live scoring overlays! 🤣
@@TakeOneTech by the way I think of an indication on the button whether the item is off or on. Most of my buttons have green for off and red for on so I can quickly see what is on . for example page of images of Background on the keys with a green and the other red line to indicated which one is on. But I think I can use some of your uno buttons for what I want to do. !
When I open zoom meeting in ecamm no sound from zoom registers in ecamm sound levels. When I open zoom outside ecamm (the old way) interactive sound between zoom and ecamm function normally. I've been on the line trying to get help from ecamm and other sources but no success after 1 week of working on it every day. I' m very discuraged and after using ecamm for 3 years I'm considering other options.
I personally feel that the Ecamm for Zoom integration should have been in Beta for a little longer, because it does seem that there are still bugs being ironed out. In fairness, many seem to simply be related to working within the features and limitations of the Zoom SDK (software developers kit). However that does not help when someone is using Ecamm and the Zoom integration for mission critical work! Personally, for regular Zoom calls I’m using the virtual camera into regular zoom app and then Rodecaster for audio routing. I am using the ecamm for zoom integration only for workshops where I need to bring people ‘on stage’. Basically I’m still treating it as beta for the moment.
I know there was a problem earlier today where a Zoom meeting could not be started from any app using the Zoom SDK (such as Ecamm)… we got that info directly from Zoom, and it has now been resolved apparently, so definitely try again if that was your issue…
Unfortunately, yes I think that the Tube Buddy subscription is tied to the specific channel rather than the Google account. However I’d certainly recommend contacting them to see if they have any options for individuals with multiple channels!
I appreciate all of the effort you put into creating these videos, thank you! I purchased a DUO two months ago and it is my goal to get a RU-vid channel up and running. I'm still in the process of putting together more equipment, lighting, cameras and such, and was hoping you might have some advice along those lines? I do not have an unlimited budget and a lot of the equipment is rather expensive. Any advice would be appreciated, thank you.
