Awesome work man! I also can't stand terrible panel gaps. Can't wait for body work and paint (still think hemi-ish orange metallic would be fire...). Hell yeah for hog dick cam in the sati! Who cares how fast it is as long as it chops the block lol.
Man you've got patience. I remember adjusting and washer shimming these cars when they were only a few years old. Did a repaired 71' Satellite owned by a buddy with washers and got it so the door would open and shut, but panel gapping ? Never did any of us ever think these would be worth so much. A good running Road Runner was $300 when I was in high school. Beautiful job. Can't wait to see yours painted👍 Malcolm Ottawa Valley
Love the attention to detail. The paint will look awesome on that canvas! Looking forward to the next Ratty Satty video too as it's an awesome car that deserves more coverage.
Heck yeah man. Sorry I missed the premiere. I was traveling home from Lisbon Ohio with a 72 c10 in tow when I saw the notification. Those gaps looking freaking amazing. It’s details like this that will set the chargers apart from others. Great job Dave.
Nice work those gaps looks fantastic mate, I'm with you on gapping it makes all the difference between an average build and a top tier one, It doesn't really matter on an old banger but on something you plan to paint properly it's well worth all the effort.
You know damn well those gaps were never perfect! I don’t think I could wrap my head around a mopar that had perfect gaps, my mind couldnt comprehend! You do that car too good!
Just wondering if it’s a myth to check door gaps and alignment as well as how they latch with the doors loaded. Like in glass, regulator, and everything else that would take it to true weight.
Talk about perfection! Lots of people talk about... very few achieve it as closely as you have. Glad to see another upload - that 68 is going to be SWEEEEET!
