That's gotta be an awesome feeling, winning two 1st place awards after sharing the build with the world! I was over here in Indiana thinking "WE BETTER WIN!!!" Congrats!
I love watching this car being restored. I never had much of a passion or deep appreciation for these kinds of cars until I started watching your channel. Congratulations on your win at the Evanston car show.
Nice job at the show, all your hard work paid off, is that a new big door dent I see on the passenger side? OK, final tear down, can`t wait to see body and paint.
great job man. you are making such good decisions with this build. buying the two chargers, using what you need and selling the rest for almost what you paid, getting set up and skilled to do the time consuming cost prohibitive work, partnering up with AMD, hats off!
Amigo tremendo tu trabajo Digno de admiración!! No veo la hora de verlo en marcha Cuando sale un vídeo del Charger? Lo tenés olvidado Saludos desde Argentina
Congratulations on first and second place now can't wait to see what color car looks amazing. Now when are you going to finish the charger. I'd like to see that one done also
How do feel about driving cars in epoxy primer? As you know once that gets knocked apart for the prep on a nice paint job, there goes a big chunk of money and the dreaded fear of scratching something after you have 200+ hours of sanding. In epoxy, no worries!
It’s definitely at a stage where if it got scratched I wouldn’t cry many tears. The epoxy is super easy to spray & repairs blend right in with the rest of it.
My painter is always quick to point out epoxy is not designed as a “finish coat” and can absorb stuff which could effect the final paint job. My experience has shown me the more money I spend on nice paint jobs the less I drive them (cars AND motorcycles).
