Hey thanks for your feedback 😊 I know I've been irregular, it's because I'm juggling with lots of projects and I'm not able to give 100% of my time to this channel. Have been trying to be consistent for years now. Will keep trying :) thanks And no we don't have an app 😊
Thank you for your feedback. Even if I'm reading the book, I do my best to emphasize certain points, explain via illustrations, but anyway, I'll try to explain in a better way so you could understand 🙂
Thanks for the informational video Doctor. Few days ago I overheard doctors speaking about caries in my 32 babies. I couldn't tell what it was as no one explained that to me. Got your video in recommendations and I clicked it. Loved the explanation. I am about to lose one of my 32 babies. And may lose more if I don't care well for my remaining 31. Doctors said I have good oral health and I do take care of my oral system but white sugar is one of the two things I can't give up. I have eaten so many biscuits when younger and we knew nothing about dental health back then. I was bribed into eating biscuits so I won't complain about certain wrongdoings to authorities. I ended up eating bribery biscuits 😦 and I am not proud of it. It had a wrong intent and harmed me surely. Most wrong things I picked on were the work of some male elements in my life. Mostly brothers. Else I was a simple genuinely caring for health by eating right and doing right kind of person. Would I lose them all? My teeth? By when a person generally ends up losing all their teeth? We loved our childhood days when losing a tooth was fun because mummy made it so. Wish for something whenever your tooth fell she said. As adults I can't seem to think of this as a good thing- losing a tooth. I only wish for it to regrow. I had no idea what dentists did for a living even though a post grad dental student shared an adjacent room when I was in hostel. We were a mixed group in our hostel. I didn't know what dentists did for a living😔 I don't want to lose my teeth but it feels like they will all go away. Thanks again for the video Doctor Shaikh Mujtaba.
Thank you for typing down such a beautiful message. This is exactly the reason why most of us are not able to prevent cavities, because we are not aware of what's causing these cavities. Well, if you can't avoid white sugar, then the way you can fight back is by timely brushing and flossing your teeth. All the best 👍
@lucydoll6052 I'm not just reading, I also emphasize certain points and explain where it's needed. Which difficult points could you not understand? Please let me know so I can explain better. Thanks
Very informative video thanks Dr. Mujtaba I experiencing dry mouth. then you said dry mouth is prone to dental caries what tips can you give to prevent this and stop it from getting worst?
@@rienne89 there are salivary substitutes, in the form of medications, chewing gums, etc. If you consult your dentist, they'll be able to help you with it.
The answer to your question is : direct wax pattern is used in the process of making a temporary crown because we're putting the wax directly on the tooth
So glad I discovered your channel. You speak so clearly and that really helps me understand better. Please continue making videos on dental materials specially all those metal related chapters. Thank you!!
Thank you so much for your appreciation.. These are older videos, we have definitely improved a lot in terms of quality and the overall experience of our videos, will make another one on this topic soon 😊
Thank you for your feedback. I understand, this is an older video. The quality and experience of our videos has improved a lot in our recent videos, so I'll make another one on this topic soon :)
had a filling cracked within 1 month and feel off after a few months later on my first molar which lead to very complicated issues. Thanks for your informative video, its extremely helpful in my journey of educating myself on my options to avoid another fail filling. Keep up the good work !
Hey thanks for your feedback. And I'm sorry to hear about your filling, I hope you're feeling better. Please update me with what you finally did for the tooth?
I'm not even in dentistry. I'm studying biomechanics for a class and this is so incredibly helpful. You are great at teaching and making concepts seem accessible to students! Thank you so much.
I was struggling with this topic so much until i saw this!! I already know this channel is going to be my support system for every concept i struggle with. You are a great teacher!
Thanks a lot. I'll try my best to upload more frequently 😊 but for now I'm uploading one video every week. Really appreciate your feedback. Thanks much 😊
Which dental material suffer from fatigue? Why does ceramic made Prosthesis suffer from fatigue even under low stress of mastication? Kindly ans those question 💥
Thank you for posting your queries :) I have answered your questions in the video, but I'll write them down here again. Almost all dental materials that are present in the mouth for prolonged function and longer periods of time undergo fatigue, these could include restorative materials, prosthodontic materials. Every such type of material undergoes fatigue at some level. Ceramic prosthesis suffer from fatigue under low stress of mastication because the ceramic is brittle in nature and secondly it could also happen because of improper occlusal contact zones, and excessive occlusal loads also act as a cherry on top. That is why scientists are working every day to improve Ceramic as a dental material, by experimenting various types of ceramics as a restoration.
