Technically Pius Thickness was not a death eater who was placed under the imperus course, by Yaxley. Yaxley was the one actually controlling everything through Voldemort’s instructions.
Cedrick was the huffelpuff seaker in the 3rd book when the dementors attack him and he fell off his broom (they never stated the seekers name in the movie). Even though he caught the snitch he immediately asked for a rematch because he thought it wasn’t fair. The teachers though denied that request. Off course this isn’t mentioned in the movie.
McGongongall is the Head of Gryfindorr and Deputy Headmistress (like an Assistant Principal). So it makes sense she is by dumbeldore. Snape is the head of Slytherin, Sprout Hufflepuff and Flitwick Ravenclaw. There are other teachers but they aren’t mentioned until the third book and some are mentioned in the book only.
Hagrid is actually played by too actors. Though only 1 does speaking. Robbie Coltrane is the main actor and is the face you see when speaking. However Coltrane is not big. Martin Bayfiled is a big dude and does the shots when Hagrid needs to he large (he also has a Hagrid mask, though this is rarely seen.
Lmao the part 1s are my preferred halves of any 2-part film. Its the whole setup for the 2nd part. Part 2s are often a disappointment when they don't meet the expectations of part 1 especially when they have no story-building left to do. All action and no story is what I find boring. But to each his own. That being said, Catching Fire, for me has the perfect balance of story and action and is my favourite film in this series.

One of the extraordinary things about The Shining is that it is a traditional horror/ghost/haunted hotel story-- and also a story of a loser who despises his wife and blames her for his failure to move into higher circles going mad from being cooped up with her-- and also a story of the perverted satanic illuminati ("all the best people", as Ullman puts it) claiming another soul and slaking their thirst for "red rum" by having Jack, who wants to belong to the club, so to speak, sacrifice his own son.

Poor Liz Lemmler? She got a promotion and obviously had no qualms taking it even if it meant leaving Flower Guy. You have to accept that just because you like these characters doesn’t mean they’re good people. In fact, like many people, at their worst they can be downright awful (just in an amusing way).
