What lowering springs did you use
@nickflom
@nickflom 3 года назад
The car was on coilovers from D2 racing, but had a set of custom springs for the rear to get more of a drop

I have a 2000 c230 k it’s lowered what kind exhaust is that and is it straight from the engine out?
@nickflom
@nickflom 3 года назад
hey there, this was a custom exhaust done by a shop in Virginia that is no longer open. I do not own the car anymore either. It was basically straight piped though

@nickflom

if you're referring to the sound, it's a full custom exhaust. i also changed the intake which allows the supercharger whine to be heard better
@sangetfleurs

Nice! I have a 99 and I would like for it to sound like that.

I was thinking of removing the cats with straight pipes and putting a flowmaster aftermarket muffler.

Hi Im really interested in what youve done to your exhaust! Could you tell me so that I can do the same to mine maybe?
@nickflom
@nickflom 8 лет назад
+Hayden Head it's a fully custom job. the header is the only piece that was pre-manufactured. the header is stainless steel, and then the rest of the exhaust is fully titanium. everything is welded, and there is a high-flow cat, but it's mainly just for show (I used to have to get my car to pass emissions). the tips are from a c63 amg.

+Nick Flom Yeah I cant stand the amount of quiet at the moment so Im trying to figure out what to do
@nickflom
@nickflom 8 лет назад
Hayden Head from the research i've done, there are very few companies that still make any sort of modifications for the R170 chassis. the sound of mine is a by product of the performance gains. the noise is sometimes obnoxious and unwanted but right now it's my only car so i just deal with it

Pro trick: watch series on Flixzone. I've been using them for watching all kinds of movies recently.

Because the point to mod and tune s car either yourself or by someone else is self rewarding. And you have bragging rights. And plus it's fun an exciting to see nothing form into something. Is a true enthusiast goal.

Hey don't kid yourself about these new V6 Mustangs. They will surprise you. Granted they hold no candle to the GT's they are still fast.
@nickflom
@nickflom 11 лет назад
i was working with the car i had at the time, which was a gift. even with the money i put into the car, plus the price of the car, i would only be able to get the v6 version of the mustang, which isnt a real mustang
@danis4sally
@danis4sally 11 лет назад
So just one question,,,,,,, WHY? Why would you spend the money on this when you could just buy a Mustang and be done with it.

This is the race exhaust, as it comes from FSWerks

how much of a difference did the header make? i have a 2010 silver ses with k&n cold air intake fswerks race exhaust and sct tune done by tom at focus fanatics
@ZawmbeeApokalypze

If you visit the FSWerks website, they specialize in Focus performance parts. You can buy this exhaust for around $300-$400 off their website.

Awesome. I'll definetly let you know on the Coswirth intake, but I won't be doing any upgrades until after winter.
@nickflom
@nickflom 12 лет назад
@kickwagon yes your car will sound the same, if not louder. im not sure how the intake manifold will effect the sound so let me know. yes this is my daily, dealing with the sound isnt bad, if you check out my other videos you'll see the car is gutted, ive also since taken out the radio so all i hear is the car. sometimes it a little annoying when i don't want to be loud or draw attention, but not to the point where i would want to change it
@kickwagon
@kickwagon 12 лет назад
Nice. Doesn't sound bad at all. I've ordered a cold air, cosworth intake, header and race exhaust along with ECU tune from FSWERKS and was curious how it would sound. The guy on the phone said it would be loud. If I can get similar sound to this I'd be more than happy. Is this your daily driver and if so, how's dealing with it every day?
