hey there, this was a custom exhaust done by a shop in Virginia that is no longer open. I do not own the car anymore either. It was basically straight piped though
+Hayden Head it's a fully custom job. the header is the only piece that was pre-manufactured. the header is stainless steel, and then the rest of the exhaust is fully titanium. everything is welded, and there is a high-flow cat, but it's mainly just for show (I used to have to get my car to pass emissions). the tips are from a c63 amg.
Hayden Head from the research i've done, there are very few companies that still make any sort of modifications for the R170 chassis. the sound of mine is a by product of the performance gains. the noise is sometimes obnoxious and unwanted but right now it's my only car so i just deal with it
Because the point to mod and tune s car either yourself or by someone else is self rewarding. And you have bragging rights. And plus it's fun an exciting to see nothing form into something. Is a true enthusiast goal.
i was working with the car i had at the time, which was a gift. even with the money i put into the car, plus the price of the car, i would only be able to get the v6 version of the mustang, which isnt a real mustang
how much of a difference did the header make? i have a 2010 silver ses with k&n cold air intake fswerks race exhaust and sct tune done by tom at focus fanatics
@kickwagon yes your car will sound the same, if not louder. im not sure how the intake manifold will effect the sound so let me know. yes this is my daily, dealing with the sound isnt bad, if you check out my other videos you'll see the car is gutted, ive also since taken out the radio so all i hear is the car. sometimes it a little annoying when i don't want to be loud or draw attention, but not to the point where i would want to change it
Nice. Doesn't sound bad at all. I've ordered a cold air, cosworth intake, header and race exhaust along with ECU tune from FSWERKS and was curious how it would sound. The guy on the phone said it would be loud. If I can get similar sound to this I'd be more than happy. Is this your daily driver and if so, how's dealing with it every day?
