Kevin Chapman FINALLY admits he's wrong AND a narcissist?!! what a time to be alive. A word of warning though folks, whether he's click-baiting his family, playing with his little toys or trying to flog us dodgy tec, this guy will continue to gaslight his viewers. Be warned.
Seashore is ok stayed there before, if your going to Great Yarmouth though its worth going to the Wild Duck Haven park in Belton, abit furthur from the beach but its Havens only woodland park, it has abit more character and just abit nicer all around. Nothing wrong with Seashore though ultimately it depends on how close you want to be to the sea, for me personally though the upgrade in quality is well worth it.
I love this part of the country and have been going there since I was a kid and still visit a couple of times a year now. Beach walks with that lovely sea air, fish and chips, arcades the list goes on. The hippodrome is where they have the circus shows and the sea did used to come under the pier as I can remember it from years past. Great video and definitely a thumbs up and glad you enjoyed your visit.
I can think of plenty of places worse than Yarmouth. I had loadscof holidays there. You have to go in the season. The atmosphere is completely different. When you get hot weather that beach is excellent for a good tan. I really miss it. Bridlington is the worst ive ever been to.
The reason you didn't hate Yarmouth is because you only walked along the seafront. Actually go IN to town, and see the grimness of it; I live here and I think it's a hole. 😅
My ex and his wife (since the Summer of 1995) moved away from their 6th floor Lindon flat to Skeggy last year, to a bungalow somewhere, and apart from taking a fall and breaking her hip earlier this year, they seem settled and happy there... (He's 67 this coming Dec, and she was 72 this 1st April...so hopefully they're there for good now). I've never been to Skegness...and am unlikely to now (due to my congestive heart failure & CKD, and being wheelchair bound, so not good on the beach, sadly!) Perhaps my Carer daughter will be able to visit them before they get even less welcoming... Neither my daughter nor I drive so, am stuck indoors as travelling is difficult. The last time I went to the seaside was to Margate in 2005, and before that, six holidays in Great Yarmouth between 1997 - 1999...before my second marriage also failed due to yet another "wandering" hubby... Being single since Sept. 2001 means memories but that's all now for me so I like to see your videos around the UK's seasides... Thank-you for the work you put in. I do appreciate your narratives & camera work.🏖️🌤️🍦🍦🥤☕🍽️ 😏🏴♥️🇬🇧😊🖖
Bournemouth was a beautiful place to live before all the migrants. The sense of community has been destroyed. We now have a stabbing every other day . Tony Blair should be locked up for what hes done. Such a shame.
Having lived in Yarmouth for 22 years beginning in 2001, I can confirm that it is nothing more than one big oppressive cloud of gloom and depression. The streets are filthy, the shops are all the same and 50% of them are now gone anyway as no one can afford to pay the ridiculous rental prices for them, and the people are just downright rude. The leaflets advertising the town do not show the gutters and rivers so full of rubbish, even poop, nor do they talk about the gulls that leave you bloodied and bruised just because there might have been a chance to steal a chip or two clean out of your hands. They don't show the homelessness problem which is horrific and they certainly don't invite you to live there because there are no jobs. If you're just visiting for a weekend, okay sure, it'd be an interesting, eye opening weekend, but in all, as other commenters have said, it really is Not-So-Great Yarmouth, affectionally known by the locals as one of the biggest shitholes in the UK.
30-40 years ago the Pier used to be in the sea(I used to fish from it), personally I think this is why Hemsby is being allowed to go to waste, redirecting the sea from there will re-introduce water to Britannia Pier and it couldn't cope with it unless there were a hell of a lot of money spent on upgrades and repairs.
Winter gardens was owned by Jim Davidson. Don't know if he still owns it though. Met him a few times there & around Yarmouth. Haven't been for about 20 years(bit of a shithole)!
Do not go to Harry Ramsden's as it is shit, instead go to the market (in the town not near the seafront) and select something as it's cheaper better and more choice.
Britania pier was always the same length but the sea used to come up higher (more sand built up there now which is a constantly changing situation there) meaning the end of the pier was going out into the sea. They used to have fast boat rides off the end of the pier back in the 90s.

I stayed in a room very similar to this by a company called Roomzzz, it was even close to all the activity though !! I’m sure if you got a front room in it you could watch the trams go by, Andy would be living his dream haha. It’s also for lift access for Anna and a free breakfast bag in the morning for Kev.

House?! You are lucky to live in a house! We have to live in one room, all twenty-six of us, no furniture, half the floor is missing, and we are all huddled together in one corner for fear of falling!
8:30 well it's good thing that it isn't London and it's Manchester lol but yeah I don't think a lot of people could justify £500 to stay in Manchester for 2 nights it looks like a brilliant setup if you can get the bargain price
Im not sure if anyone pointd out but on a cruise you can get as many portions of an entree, appetizer, dessert etc. The portions are small but you can order literally one of everything on that menu if you chose. Get it all!
Perfect spot for anyone going to a concert at the AO Arena too, that’s just to the left by Victoria station, also, that hotel is now on the site of where I used to work, crazy to see all the changes in that part of the city
