I just got my jadon ll star last month.Luckily, I sized down from US7 to US 6. As if, I'm still wearing US 7 even it's already US6. I can still wesr thick socks with them. I bought it from Zalora.
i went with dr. scholls'(the guys making the insoles) Harrington II, which has a similar silhouette while also being built for comfortability. they're still a bit uncomfortable because of the leather, but I walked around in them for 2 hours+ straight, and didnt experience any bleeding or blistering.
Very curious about sizing too. I’m usually 9.5. I’ve tried in my local store size 10 and they seem a little too big in the back. Unfortunately they don’t care half sizes and now I don’t know if I should go with 10 or try order 9.5
Those plattform boots, Jadon honestly look fire. The smooth shiny leather looks awesome. Have bought my own pair of Jadons a few weeks ago and im obsessed haha. Sadly larger feet dont look that nice in them. Glad im an EU40 and they are soo cute
I had the vegan jadon max after the pain of breaking in I had a slight hole in the toe like yours and I sent them back under warranty . Kinda regret it now as they felt amazing once breaking in . Found this vid as I’ve ordered the vegan cherry red jadon . I’ll look forward to breaking in again! I read that the vegan ones don’t need breaking in but based on the pain I had with the jadon max I’d disagree
in my personal doc martens of this particular leather (and i dont use the polish cos i just never have…) dont really soften until 2nd or 3rd year of continuous wear. i have always worn the classic lace-ups and them the slim chelsea boots more recently in the past like 1.5 year to any job i’ve had and i’ve never experienced blisters (thank god!!) just wear some really good socks and get the right size guys
Ordered the block heel pumps version on IT 38.5. I am usually a US 8.5 on closed shoes and US 8.5 to 9 on rubber shoes and have a slightly wide feet specifically in the bunion part. Lengthwise they fit with no extra room for toes to wiggle around. When I tried them on, it was so tight on the sides and painful to walk on. Fit is snug that there is no slippage, which I like. I was hoping it would loosen when worn but it's just too painful to break in, leather is too stiff. Hoping to try and get the size 39 when they get back in stock. I'm just worried about the slippage when sizing up but hopefully it's something a sock and a few inserts can fix, as long as the tightness on the sides is not as bad upon sizing up.
I have four pairs of Doc Marten Chelsea boots. They are the BEST feeling, most comfortable boots I’ve ever worn. I wear them all day. Don’t wear them with short no-show socks. I wear ankle socks and love the feel.
@@maxsousa125 mine are the Chelsea boots and they are not suppose to fit tight around the ankle. The lace up boots can be the night or loose or in between demands on how tight you lace them. What socks do you wear in your boots and what style of Doc Martens do you have?
I have the Chelsea's made in England 2976 I think was the number. I can fit two fingers around my ankle. It's a little loose on the heel. I wore thicker socks and it was better, do insoles help?
i used to buy doc martens, have oxblood and black tall made in england one 14 holes...but then i bougt frmo solovair and its a whole new experience. Solovair is far superior and its cheaper. Solovair is the original doc martens factory, they sold their "brand" but kept the factory with another name...so i completely recommend solovair if u are looking for good quality and fit as opposed to a racognizable brand.
I Just got a pair of these and I love them. I have worn them with a mini skirt and knee high socks, which looked adorable. I also have been wearing them with black skinny jeans and a black or white shirt, and pretty much any dress that I would have worn my Doc Marten Boots with.
@actuallyanh hi!! are you wearing size US6? if it's not too much trouble could you please tell me the length of your feet? mine are 24cm or 9.4 inches, and I'm not sure if I should size down
I like to get my toes done, ever few weeks consistently.. so I make sure to schedule it on the weekends when I know my husband can watch our baby. It’s maybe a hour or two but I get some me time to look forward
I’m also a 6.5 in most shoes and I’d recommend sizing up on anything that has a quad platform, especially if it’s a low cut style. My reasoning is that the sole will never bend so it’ll never fully break in and you will get heel slippage no matter the size. If you size down, like most people recommend if you go I to a dr martens store, your heel will be pressed up against the back of the shoe and there will be a lot more friction. If you have some space at the heel, it’ll slip but won’t rub much. Sizing down works for me in the normal sole boots and the 1461 (I did get blisters at first with those but once the sole bends it’ll stop), but I had to replace all my quads such has the Bethans and 1461 quad with a 7.
The Dr Martens look much nicer than the Prada shoes - in my opinion. And if the Dr Martens shoes come in different colors you can buy several pairs for the price of one pair of Prada !
I bought the same style shoe but in the burgandy. I was worried I wouldn’t be able to wear it with too many outfits, but I also wanted to have something not black. But I feel like if I match the colour tone with my outfit, they look great. But if I wear a cool toned pink…maybe not so much. But I loved getting something other than black to get out of my comfort zone. It just adds to the outfit
