In this video, i'm going to review the Dr. Martens Blaire Gladiator Sandals. This is a good video to watch before you buy doc martens Blaire Gladiator Sandals. I already own the (docs) Dr. Martens 1460, 1461, 8053, and Jadon Dr. Martens and i'm so excited that I now have the Dr. Martens Blaire Gladiator Sandals. As a true Dr. Martens fan, i'm using my knowledge and experience to give you an honest and thorough review. You'll be able to see the differences between each style and consider the pros and cons of the Blaire Gladiator Sandals before purchasing. Thank you for this review!!! Been wanting them for so long and now I just ordered. By the way, I thought you should know those aren’t vegan! The vegan docs have a cream/yellow colour tag. I just wanted you to know incase you NEED them to be vegan. ❤️

I got the taller gladiator sandal. For me they're harder to break in compared to the boots mine also have a lot more straps. I've got several pairs of boots and I've been able to wear them right from the beginning for hours. I recommend like she said to wear the sandals for short amounts of time. I also just read somewhere to wear sandals with thick sounds around the house to help with break in they also said to heat them with a haird ryer while wearing and allow them to cool.

These shoes are so cute I got a pair today and decided to walk home with them (about 30 minutes) to help break them in a little bit, but they cut the crap out of my ankle bone and Achilles heel!!!!! They're so cute and comfy and they fit well but they hurt to break in on bare feet

How did it go? I received mine yesterday and I couldn't wear them for even one minute (not exaggerating). It just digs into my ankles (my bones stick out quite a lot). I already sent them back. 😭 Now i am wondering if I made a mistake and should've tried to break into them.

I had the same problem ended up with a lot of blisters done some research steeped them in a bucket of hot water then put them on and after doing this few times they are super comfy 👌

Also used the very last hole on the buckle so that they are very loose until I break them in more

Ordered a pair today 🥰😍😩 so excited to have them !!! I have the Jadon boots and actually almost fell down the stairs in them a few times because i keep forgetting that they have a chunky sole 😂 hope i don’t have this issue with these sandals 🤭

I bought mine one week ago and I love them, I love dr martens and I have a lot of them, but i never bought a pair of sandals. They're awesome!! I have to break them in because they literally cut my ankles, but I will never return them back because they're too cool ❤ now I'm wearing them at home with socks, today I wore them also outside with a pair of thick tights, they're the best sandals i ever had ❤

I love your style and haircut!!!! I would seriously consider buying this style of Doc Martens bc I live in a tropical country where its hot 24/7. Oh and just to let you know I think the audio is a little soft. I'm not sure if its like that for others as well!

I bought vegan sandals but different model and they definitely needed to breake them in, in my case. I felt pain especially in little toe . Also, what was quite strange, i felt pain in my big toe, like under nail in that place where you move your fingers up during walk and touching the shoe. But it took me a little to dont feel any pain right now. I can say that after all they are very comfortable, the sole is super soft. Definitely buy them before any trip, and check if you have to breake them in. I tried brickenstock but my feet dont fit that specific sole and it vas very painful for me. But what i can say is that martens are not the best option for very hot summer, caouse its started to be slippery when your foot is getting to sweat, and they dont breath if you know what i mean. Also i can recomend "FORSTER" model for longer trips. They dont need braking in at all.

I have Birkenstock but like slides and I cannot walk long distance with slides. I just got the doc martens sandals with the long laces in white and first they are not true to size, the stitches are itching right away and at the calves somethings wrong with them. I look like an old techno girl in it😂but I love docs and will try the one you recommend!I guess or Birkenstock with Strapses, well they are much more lighter!

Are all doc marten sandals sizing the same? I’m a US Women’s 9 but I am trying to get the Myles Doc sandals, they only have w9 and w11, do you know if they run big? If so should I get 11 or 9? Thank you🥺

These are much lighter than the clarisa quad 2 which weigh alot but you don't notice it to be honest. I recommend both .....don't size down a whole size . I am 7.5 I got a 7 . I think the size match the 1460 sizes

Thank you so much for this rewiev, it's so well filmed and informative! I also don't like sandals in general, they are so boring haha. But I have a pair of platform Vagabond sandals though, they're also all black, look great and very comfortable to wear. So this summer I'm planning to buy a pair of dr. Martens. I live in Ukraine and they cost 1,5 times more here because of the shipping fee and taxes. For me that's a lot of money and the risk is high because I usually have blisters throughout the whole summer, literally omg :D But I've been thinking about them for a few years now so may be I should finally try... At least I can sell them If they don't fit...

I just got these after wanting them for so long. I was so excited, wore them all day the first time and omg they killed so bad I couldn't wait to get them off and was positive I was returning them. I feel like they just fit weird? But I can't get myself to return them bc theyre so freaking cute 😩 took to RU-vid to see how to break them in fast. I really hope they break in!

@@NatureFreak1127 yes it dug into my ankles really bad too at first and esp the back of my ankles above my heels. Honestly after wearing them a couple more times with really big bandaids to protect the back of my ankles where I got blisters, they broke in easily without doing anything extra and now I adore them. They're so cute and while they're not the most comfortable shoes in the world, I can definitely wear them out and about for a while without any trouble. I still do wear big bandaids on my ankle area to prevent blisters though

Just brought some today and the sales assistant said I didn’t need a spray protectant by the wax moisturiser can help in the first few weeks from getting cut up feet.

also another question! given your experience with doc martens, would you recommend vegan or not? i’m not sure if there’s a significant difference in the material or on the type of shoe (boots vs. sandals) but it would be awesome to know your opinion, thanks!

I would definitely recommend vegan. There's not a huge difference. They feel slightly different but they are still very durable and high quality.

From my experience, vegan 'leather' isn't nearly as durable, and is also not as good for the environment as leather proper :)

@@actuallyXanh yeah it’s tight to the point where I can’t tighten it anymore it’s the straps at the front that are too loose 😩I guess cuz my foot is skinny? Idk but I really like them and idk how to fix it. It seems like no one else has this problem but I had with both pairs

Get an 8 for sure. Because for example I usually wear like a size 10 or 10 1/2, and I ended up getting a 10, my toes dont even pass the first strap loll. I’m gonna have to go back tm 😭

DO NOT BUY THEM. I just bought mine and the sole ripped. The sole literally came off and now I’m left with an expensive sandal that isn’t good quality. I thought it was going to be good quality but apparently not

@@Yikkoofficial I actually have never heard about this kind of defect. I have 3 pairs of sandals and everything is fine. But i guess it depends. But with my experience i wouldnt say that the quaility is bad. Hope you will be able to resolve your problem!
