I fell in love with Wild Child in mid 2016 and I’ve been fortunate enough to have seen them around 8-10 times I think, but damn if I’m not bummed that I missed these early years. Can’t wait see them in DC and NC in a couple months.
Saw them at the Austin Psych Fest..just before they came on, a tropical-strength rainstorm started. I said" They'll never play in this.."....and then the lightning started crashing around us. I said" this isn't safe - they can't come out". And they did. They played a full set, next to a river, in a tropical rainstorm, with lightning all around us. And THAT is real rock and roll, people.
