It really just hits when you look at the comments expecting to read all the brainrot roasts but the most liked comments are actually answers to the question
Bro why do Reload players do this? I play fill sometimes, and my fill teammates leave when they die for no reason when they know damn well they can respawn.
One thing I kinda love about the IMP vs CHERUB rivalry is how much they toy around with who to root for. On one hand IMP are just trying to protect their boss (or Dad in Loona's case) from a bunch of spiteful little brats. On the other hand CHERUBS are not only out of their depth enough to be pitiful, but are technically the 'good guys' trying to take down a squad of professional murderers, and given last time they met they ruined their lives just for intervening in a rather low stakes job (that Blitzo bought a toy pony with :P), they're among the few advesaries IMP actually come off as kinda loathsome against (or at least against Collin who genuinely is a sweet guy who didn't wanna be involved in all these bad deals). Noticably IMP actually start off the fight getting punted because they won't stop gloating. All three of them couldn't resist demeaning CHERUB and start to lose their individual fights. It is only then when they're all clearly on the defence that they begin to take control, when they actually have karma on their side. I especially love the shift with the Collin vs Loona fight, how she starts off menacing poor Collin and we expect him to end up like a random DHORK agent in Truth Seekers, but then he starts taking the upper hand. There's a real "Poor Collin....Oh right he's pulling it off....No wait, he's PULLING IT OFF!??? Poor Loona!" :P
I only focused on Collin and his actions. And you know what I did notice him hesitating to shoot down blitzo. Now you would think he would have had the opportunity to shoot him down right away without even thinking. But he was hesitating. Now I know that he's really going to leave Cletus and Keenie and maybe join I.M.P? But this is just my theory. Of course there's already been told of foreshadowing that Collin might be the only cherub to redeem himself. I really love this character and I'm hoping to see more of him
Yeah, I just really want the poor guy to get out of this. Even against Loona he's just fending her off by shooting her hiding spot and hesitates to advance on her (THAT LOOK when he takes off his face guard). He's stuck in an ongoing battle where he clearly doesn't want to hurt anyone but they all want to hurt HIM. Seriously I think the fact Collin and the rest of CHERUB were competent enough to transition IMP from 'bully and pummel' mode to 'actually on the defense and taking the fight seriously' halfway through is the only reason I don't HATE IMP by the end of this episode. Sure Keenie and Cletus are kinda spiteful pricks, guys you can understand IMP not feeling remorse over, but even they just want to stop some murderers, while Collin just wants to go back to doing his job of good deeds and helping people but the trio are constantly getting screwed over by IMP and everyone else they affiliated with, usually for a cruel laugh. I have my doubts Collin will join IMP however, at least so long as they're still killing people, with it only being convinience if they deserved it. Collin just wants OUT with hurting people.
Also one other detail I've only just noticed, the moment when he actually starts fighting off Loona and opening fire, it wasn't to shoot Blitz. It was to get Millie off of Keenie. It fits the first battle when he straight up rushes in at IMP for targeting Lyle and saves Keenie from M+M there too. He only has bravado when he's DEFENDING someone. When he's....out for love you could say. :P
