90% media abc cbs, MSMBC, cnn, all left .. untrue. Google and RU-vid ( left wing) fox ( the only right) and mostly telling you the things the others won’t tell you like Hunter Biden laptop story! Please wake up. We are alll in this together. Women’s right is painted by the Democrats as if it’s being attacked. The only thing that was done, was giving it back to the states to decide. It shouldn’t be in the federal governments hands to begin with. It should be closer to the people!! they hit you in your emotions. Notice how the left hits you in your emotions all the time they use words like social justice, social equity, inclusion, these are Buzz words meant to confuse your mind. What do they actually mean? and how do you enforce it? Linkin Project is sinister !! Be aware when they tell you who to hate with anger and vitriol . Money to democrats is : Jorge Soros some people call him a war criminal for collapsing, economies, and paying off governments) gates ( WHO) , and about 70 billionaires! SuperPAC!!!! Please look into everything that I say. Look into open society foundation on Google. They will tell you because they control Google. They have no problems with it. Davos- group” the great reset” has videos on RU-vid explaining exactly what they are going to do. They do have 90% media voice message control! Be careful who they tell you who to hate. Fossil fuels is not the enemy, it’s still used in solar . We don’t have better!! They pumped Hilary because… “democrats “ of coarse they will say she’s winning . The Democrats have been co-opted, while I agree on most things you need to understand what’s really happening. Look behind the veil follow the money… Davos the great reset. If you want complete economic collapse, open borders, and World War III vote Democrat. You will be voting for the end of America as you know it ..
You can’t deep fake Biden‘s overspending, Biden’s open borders and all the wars popping off !!! you can’t deep fake the fact that every television and RU-vid personality tells you what emotions you should feel, which is usually hate… Directed at one person… Because he threatens the establishment and their overall plans! Trump24.
Soros owns all media including google / small RU-vid channels…his group open society , wants “. no borders and economic collapse. DAVOS -“ the great reset” it’s clear , look it up!!! “ Trump is the only one that can fix things, the corruption is so deep, watch senate hearings in full! Wild government spending is aiding to the collapse of the dollar 100 billion to Venezuela 100B to Iran 100B to Ukraine, it’s wild government spending so it’s helping the collapse of the economy. If Biden or the Democrats get in, there will be World War III.
CNN been facing a backlash from its own staff over editorial policies they say have led to a regurgitation of Israeli propaganda and the censoring of Palestinian perspectives in the network’s coverage of the war in Gaza - anything to say about it Anderson?

Ms. Oh, I hope you see this. Not only did “Illmatic” change my life, so did your review! I was fifteen, and took the issue with me on a family spring break road trip that March. My family all remembers me talking about the article and your review all the way from Ft. Worth to Big Bend National Park in west Texas. I still have the magazine!
I appreciated the parts portraying family ties and dealing with the mortality of family, more than the main point, which seems to be a call to use "caste" instead of "racism" as a way to unite human oppression and suffering on a broader scale (not "just what black folks experience"). That part to me felt more a linguistics-based argument - semantics, if you will - and also politically driven. It had some great moments, for sure, but the main argument/theory is just okay. I have a few counter-arguments, but it's a comments section, not a dissertation, so....
These j school deans are going to ruin our country. They want to divide up all segments of our population and feed them news full of grievance. They feel no responsibility to assimilate to the mainstream American culture or valorize the founders and the men who made our country great
Where ever the Caste system exists it is not meant for the greater good. After watching this film I tend to see it more than I did before in a lot of institutions for dominance. Great film.❤
I love the conversation but I keep hearing Ava mention that Aunjanue Ellis - Taylor wasn't a lead in a major motion picture. Does major mean that independent films don't count? What budget amount is being considered with this statement? Ellis - Taylor was the lead in "Cover" directed by Bill Duke around 2004-2005. I was there when it was released in Miami.
Thank you for hosting me and main subject, the activist Terrance Roberts, for this discussion. For those who would like to screen the film, it is streaming on Prime and Apple Plus.
"Biggie's Ready to Die album came out several months after Illmatic, and Biggie was crowned king of New York in the popular culture of Hip Hop heads, Ready to Die unfairly over-shadowed Illmatic, which is truly a classic album. Though they were quite distinct artists, they innovated in analogous ways. Biggie merged language that was high and low, vernacular and vocabulary words, in a way that sounded natural. He did this with a sophisticated understanding of the patterns of black language. When a different or unusual word or phrase could be introduced while still maintaining the aesthetics of black language, he inserted it. NaS, in contrast, merged concepts that were high and low, vernacular and metaphysical, in a manner that was whole rather than pieced together, thus presenting a complex that is unusual in any music outside of jazz. What Biggie started to do with language in 1994, NaS had already begun to do with ideas on Illmatic. He carries us through the "Righteous steps" of the cosmic, oceanic, and literal dimensions of his person. He transcends." - Imany Perry (Born To Use Mics)
Ice Cube said to NaS on his 'The Bridge' podcast, "Back then we were doing our penmanship, then you came and put it in Cursive". Highest compliments from 1 of Hip-Hop Greats! Illmatic is like New Testament to Catholics. It is like BC & AD, before Illmatic and after Illmatic! Facts!
RZA said Nas was like Bobby Fischer. i fully agree. he understood everything alot of dudes were trying to get on, at a very early age and captured it on Illmatic and It was written, two of Hip Hop's Top 50 albums of all time, Illmatic is certainly a Top 5-10 all time (its #1 for me) and It was written is certainly Top 30-50.
@@jkbzz I'd argue IWW is top 20. The only reason IWW wasn't given the 5 mics it justly deserved is soley because it followed Illmatic imo. It's a classic in it's own right. It's ONLY flaw is it followed arguably the greatest hip hop album of all-time in discography. So it could never be judged honestly.
@@Cevensities in all honesty, i would not fault that argument. i could easily put IWW in my Top 20 but people would be wildin out. i think the only two artists that frequently get two of their works in Top 20 are Dr Dre and A Tribe called Quest.
I had a whole semester with Fazil and we hung out a few times after class. We had some wholesome conversations. He was a great listener and a great friend. I will always remember him!! 🫂
True to his name, Fazil was a gracious, intellectual and one of the kindest souls I have ever met in life. It is truly heartbreaking to refer to him in the past tense, to look back and check our photos together, and recall our times at the Journalism school, IIMC. As described here by the many lives touched by Fazil, he was a calm, thoughtful, knowledgeable and incredibly focused individual who absolutely loved delving deep into areas of his interest. I remember when he was working for CNN-News18, his inputs helped me in reporting 2019 Indian parliamentary election. Fazil was my first 'Proper Delhi wala' friend who had a superb understanding of the city, its history and cultural. For those who may not know, his command over Hindi and Urdu was brilliant, especially the pronunciation part! Although we were not in regular touch after he moved to NY, busy with our lives, but were always comfortable just getting straight to the point, without the need for greetings. He used to share how proud his family was of his achievements. It was heartwarming to see him achieve what he truly believed in. His passing is a sudden shock, a harsh reality for all of us to come to terms with. Dear Faazeyyy, I feel fortunate to have known you and to have shared parts of our lives. You will forever be in our hearts. ♾❤ Rest in Peace! 🕊 Amen! CJS, Hechingerreport, and friends, It was a lovely memorial service🙏. (Rajat)
