Finding this video made me realize that I never played Road to Hill 30. I played the PS2 version of Earned in Blood and the PS3 version of Hell's Highway. The PS3 version is what you'd expect of the game, but the PS2 versions of Brothers in Arms are stories in themselves. Because they had to be scaled down significantly from the other versions. Been almost 20 years since I played them, but off the top of my head. -Less characters running around. Your squads typically only had 4 people split into 2 per squad with maybe 1-2 missions that gave you 5 with one squad getting 3. This also reflected in the enemies. German squads were typically smaller than they would be in other versions. Some German squads were coded to have a spawn trigger where upon being wiped out, another squad would spawn nearby. Sometimes, you could even see them poof out of thin-air. -Some weapon variants were missing. Off the top of my head, the FG42 didn't have the scoped variant. -You only got one mission with a Sherman tank. Every other tank mission used a Tank Destroyer. Presumably done for graphical and frame rate issues since the tank destroyer didn't have an AI controlled machine gun. Anyway, truly an underrated series.
I had Terrydactyl on my squad once. I was the SL and He was my radio operator. He was never anywhere near me and i couldnt get a hold of him because he was busy concentrated on his stream lmfao
He should never play radio or SL if he is streaming, or if he does he should be 100% focused on comms with his squad and squad leads. I often kick people from my squad because they dont respond or i warn them multiple times to stick with me, especially the radio, i need that extra gun next to me at all time. AT ALL TIMES. No excuses. Unless i send him somewhere..
@@WolverineMKD yea, the funny thing is i had no idea who he was at the time, just thought he was some newb who picked an important class. Then i was randomly watching one of his videos and saw my name pop up down below and i connected the dots
It's hard to imagine that in 2024, there are still FPS games without a toggle sprint feature. You have to hold down the Shift key to run, which is really user-unfriendly.
What's like the minimum you have to spend on a pc to play these games at full spec torn between getting a PC or an xbox series x got the s but the dog chewed it lol and I'm I going to have to buy a new pc when gta 6 comes out is it worth it at this point
Try to have some support when using sniper rifle so it is the white bipod image next to your stamina bar since you're braced, like on a ledge or something. Makes the sniper rifle much, much more stable
3 months now, I still can't play on xbox at all. Extremely laggy like it's unplayable. My grenades won't even blow up, and i can't sprint. Only game in my library with this issue. Dog water #baddevs
Funny. I just bought the game earlier 50% because it looked fun but also 50% coz i remember the name team17 from wayyyy back and wanted to support them. Oh well😒
Probably the worst game I've bought in five years (I bought resident evil 6), the first time I opened it my fps was a little bad but the game looked great, I had some bugs like not being able to jump a 2 inch edge or not being able to pass through invisible walls, after 14 HOURS of GAME I will not play this again, I gave it a second chance and after 4 games I will probably see less than 15 enemies I think it is a game that is for you only if you play with friends and like to focus on a single game (Like I don't) I love these realistic shooter games but this game made me discover that focusing your eyes for too long hurts my most honest opinion
One tip I would advise is for players to use Free Look when scanning about. Your character only moves his head, while in HLL you have to move your entire body, which provides a give away to the enemy of your location. Also, while running, walking, crouch walking, if you use free look to look either way as you go in a certain direction, you get much better situational awareness. HLL really failed not including Free Look, IMO. 🇦🇺
Be even better if there was headtracking support for the likes of trackIR, adds so much immersion and is the primary reason I have so little time in the game.
@@trumps1973 I've been advocating for TrackIR and Tobii Eye tracking support for years, for many shooter games. It just falls on deaf ears, unfortunately. Arma is the only game that uses it. DayZ seemed to have damaged their TrackIR support it used to have.
I don't like Arma's graphics huge margin between SQ44, but I play it because of the depth that I want. it is not all about graphics for real milsim gamers.
Exactly everybody says that the accuracy and gameplay are so good the graphics doesn't matter. I'm like huh it looks better than hll. Once I bought it I was like huh it looks way better on RU-vid:p
