Oh ok. I thought maybe it was one of those fade guides. Where did you get the ceramic stagger tooth blade from? When I search on Google it shows me a picture of the same one you got, and it's through Amazon. When I click on the link under the picture though, it takes me to a trimmer blade
Hey sorry to keep bothering you, but from what I can find the tpob xo blade only comes as a combo with both the guard blade and the moving blade. I already got the style craft faper blade, so I'm really just trying to find the ceramic moving blade on its own. I just realized you have links in the description though, so that link for the Fox sonic ceramic stagger tooth blade is the one I want to go with the faper blade right?
I bought these novah trimmers and after i zero gapped them they cut good and sharp. Should i just stay with the stock blade or swap them for the SC blade ?
Thanks for the video! I got these and out of the box they were terrible until I zero gapped them and they cut so well. I didn't get any guards with them and wondering what I should be searching for on Amazon? Is there a specific model for replacement guards or should I be searching universal ones?
Most guards will fit on these I currently use the stylecraft double magnetic guards. Something like the wahl premium or color guards should be good tho.
Wassup Kal, I'm also someone that's been cutting his own hair for a year now. When would I need to do this with my Novah clippers? Like what is an indicator that I need to change them out? Thanks bro
Great question! If you just cut your own hair you may not need to change the blades tbh. A lot of the benefits of changing the blade come from cutting for hours on end. Knowing you can put a blade that doesn't get hot on a cheap clipper is always going to be reassuring. The stock taper blade is pretty bad imo but I've used all kinds of blades if you haven't then you wouldn't know what bad is. As far as the trimmer that x pro blade is on some of the best trimmers out and with it modified like the video you can make these trimmers hit hard. But again its all preference if you just do self cuts you may not need to where as the beginner barber who needed a cheap set could benefit from this upgrade. If you notice them cutting different or pulling hairs it may be time to change the blade. Its definitely worth the upgrade regardless of the state of your current blade tho.
People tend to prefer 5 clicks to 4 because there is a middle to 5. Since 4 has no middle its more tedious to fade. If yours only has 4 you can remove the clicks if you don't like 4.
Just did this mod.. works well. Notice though only one screw holds the blade down. The other is just held in there but doesnt catch of the threads.. is yours held down by both? Anything else needed to be grinded down? @KalTheBarber
@@KalTheBarbertrimmer. Only one of the screws is holding the blade down. I was going to attempt to drill out the chrome piece to allow the screws to have more room to actually thread.

Did the S/C diamond blade! When I say whoof… I mean whoof! Totally different trimmer. I didn’t use anything from the old blade, but I used your method for installation. 🫡
For my troll i sanded it down with 150 grit sand paper and then used a spray paint primer. I followed up with my own paint mix I use acrylic paint mixed with baking soda as it gives it a textured feel. The baking soda is not needed tho it will not be a smooth finish if that's what you are looking for. After around 3 to 4 layers of paint I apply 2 layers of 2 part epoxy this creates a very strong layer preventing chips. I followed that up with a laquer 2 to 3 coats of that. Its alot of work but its worth it imo. Lmk if there's anything I can do to help! 👍

Even tho my candy trio only have the baby skull foiler it's great for getting those little hairs in the crease off the ears 👂🏼 do you recommend the TPOB foilers over the WAHL FINALE?
I haven't used the finale but the tpob skull shaver is only 40 bucks and it comes with a charging dock. I have the one that was out before the dock and it works great and its strong.

Can't find the TPOB Yeti on Amazon. And I own the TPOB X. One of the most quiet trimmer/clippers your money can buy with a 7200 RPM motor!!!! Can't wait to track down the yeti.
Ive never owned one of their products,not because if the actual product but ive seen all hes posting about is downtalking and talking bad on other good genuine influencers and its not like its a one time thing hea dropping one like every week of a new person but i just think triying to get views like that isent right
The brushless motor in the xo really outperforms the troll in my opinion. The xo blade and deep tooth blade are a perfect match with a great crunch. The troll is still a great clipper for the price. You can't go wrong with either one tho. If you go with the troll id get the blackout edition it comes with the blades mentioned and a dock. The xo is the best tho.
Just did this upgrade yesterday!! Couldn't get the Faper Blade on amazon. Went with the S|C Fade blade. Perfect fit. Clippers cut like butter after zero gapping them!!! Thanks.
Tpob ghosted on me but he does know what he is talking about and his machines are really the same exact thing as a lot of the (Big BRAND) more money clippers. Tpob did it without a bunch of hipster image fake account people who are not what you think… I’m not saying all of them cuz some of them are actually good people but some of them will rob ya and walk over you if you were dead in the street.

But they are the people who are around. If Tpob was around I would have been cool with him and even though he hates shows and all that it’s the main way up the chain in the USA these days. All big brands or known brands always make their efforts to make sure that they are at shows. I didn’t even know about that life until like 3 years ago
No, the xo has more rpm a 4 hour run time with a 2 hour charge. The blade is also miles better graphene coated with a mirrored underside. There are a few clippers out there that have a similar look but these have the best internals. Also they are cheaper than the cocco and very close in price to the lence pro you mentioned. You can get the bundle for 180 its a steal.
