Blade swap on the Novah Clipper set 

Np, these cheap clippers only setback are the blades.

Hey thanks for the comment. Have you compared the i32 blade to the xpro-the one combo? Id imagine the style craft combo would still beat that blade due to the design but id like to see, I might pick one up. Is the spring on the i32 blade the same as the one on the novah trimmer i need another spring.

Nope, it's pretty much plug and play. You don't have to dissemble anything. also the guide blade on the kemei has a slight modification to cut closer to the skin. The only thing I don't like is that the cutting blade is flat like the novah, but it's still sharper if you set it right.

Are we talking clipper or trimmer?

@@KalTheBarbertrimmer. Only one of the screws is holding the blade down. I was going to attempt to drill out the chrome piece to allow the screws to have more room to actually thread.

@@BossTatted if you like how they cut then don't worry about it. This mod just makes them better imo. It definitely won't hurt you to do it. 👍

Great question! If you just cut your own hair you may not need to change the blades tbh. A lot of the benefits of changing the blade come from cutting for hours on end. Knowing you can put a blade that doesn't get hot on a cheap clipper is always going to be reassuring. The stock taper blade is pretty bad imo but I've used all kinds of blades if you haven't then you wouldn't know what bad is. As far as the trimmer that x pro blade is on some of the best trimmers out and with it modified like the video you can make these trimmers hit hard. But again its all preference if you just do self cuts you may not need to where as the beginner barber who needed a cheap set could benefit from this upgrade. If you notice them cutting different or pulling hairs it may be time to change the blade. Its definitely worth the upgrade regardless of the state of your current blade tho.
