Yay for Georgia! I rented out a duplex that I purchased back in the mid nineties, which was before internet, so it would have cost a fortune to hire someone to do a background check on my tenants. The first renter was good and lived there for a year. The second renters paid rent for only two months before the husband went to jail and the wife couldn’t pay rent. I gave her a little extra time, but when he got out of jail, they took advantage of my kindness and stopped paying rent altogether. (They were not even married, they lied about that and I suspect many other things) I was already dealing with a massive loss in my life and I didn’t have the strength to fight this disgusting squatter game. I finally sold the duplex and they finally had to go.. It was a tough life lesson that hardened me.

How do people do this knowing the consequences to innocent human beings? These are criminal enterprises working in total view and with governmental sanction. These people honestly have no souls.
