I may not use every part of this build but its very much helped me on my quest for a good Strength Int build. You’ve helped me find where alot of spells I needed without having to watch 15 different videos. I love how you show exactly where the items are on the map and in game, this is your first video Ive seen and I will be watching more(especially the BG3 ones) thank you for your genuine help.
Im telling you straight up ive been at this for 4 hours now and theres nothing that keeps him locked in the animation. The running into the corner doesnt do a thing. He also dodges sleep pots like crazy. After his second phase its nearly impossoble to get the window to hit him with 2 rotten breath. Not super sure this guide is valid anymore.
Damn, how are you hitting so hard? I accounted for all the buffs you mentioned and it's still not enough, or are there other buffs you're using as well?
You can also use the 'Barbariana Wild Magic Boon" for additional 1d4. Increasing by a always +1 (max of +4) It also stacks with guidance. Grab a hirling and pump them pinto Barbarian. At level 3. You can then get 2 more hirelings for extra uses. Use the Turn-trigger feature to keep your boon on longer. Happy Thieving. ;)
Im going further then this build. im going full arcane swordsman build. its already doing 1k a swing. an the knights set does not give the best results with the carian blades an bow sadly. an i went wrench an you end up with more stats then any other characters. if you going to max lvl then it won't matter. but im struggling in cause my vigor is only 20 an i need more still. it really hard at the beginning. 60 is always minimum of 60. also the Dlc has some stuff that would push this over 4k damage.

It's really hard to pin one build and say it's the best. Pretty good build but my question is why not use "Millicent's Prosthesis / Rotten Winged Sword Insignia / Shard of Alexander / Godfrey Icon" "Godfrey Icon" instead of either "Sacred Scorpion Charm / Two-Handed Sword Talisman / Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman" since it would buff "Euporia Vortex (Euporia's skill)" by 15% without the damage from "Sacred Scorpion Charm" and it's also better since the scorpion is only 12% and icon is 15% and it does stack with Alexander's shard? Also for the buffs "Howl of Shabriri" is a body buff and the skill of the "Sword of light" is also a body buff so they don't stack, instead the "Sword of Night" skill applies a -20% holy resistance to enemies and with both it gives you a +40% Holy damage overall.
Thank you for your questions! Regarding the Godfrey Icon, since Euporia Vortex isn’t a chargeable weapon skill, it won’t have any effect. As for the buffs, you’re right-both Howl of Shabriri and Sword of Light are body buffs, so they don’t stack. However, I’d still avoid using Sword of Night. Even with the casting speed boost from patch 1.14, it’s still too slow in my opinion, and leaves you vulnerable during the cast. But yes, it does stack with the Sword of Light buff. I know it was explained why we use Great Swords for Carian Sovereignty, however, for the Carian Grandeur Build before we get to this point, why not the Carian Knight Sword? I know Magic Infusion on a Great Sword is better, but what's stopping you from enhancing the sword with Scholar's Armament to keep up with the damage output? I guess it'd be how projection sorceries work. Does it really not consider buffs on your weapon?
Something that's worth mentioning is that stormblade scales best to the keen affinity. The storm bullet will do ~5-10% more damage on the keen affinity than on an occult or bleed affinity.
