Love seeing a new KC video on my feed! Love the content man, as an OG souls player I really appreciate all the hard work you put in to these to keep the community growing. Much love brother
Ive been trying the giant crusher lately, and i cant believe I'm saying this, but i think is too big lol. It kinds of annoys me, I cant see some enemies or movements, thinking of going to brick hammer to keep it reasonable.
You know, after seeing the giant's crusher hammer, I'm surprised there isn't a strength weapon where you have a stick with a piece of the Farum Azula temples on it. Pieces of those buildings are all over Limgrave. Imagine hitting someone with part of a building.
Rofl, that damn thing was too gigantic I had a hard time dodging some Bosses' attacks because my vision was impaired. Vaati recently made a beautiful lore video about the history of Crumbling Farum Azula. I know you love storytelling, you should totally check it out. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-PvYHhsjm684.html
One of my fondest builds after hundreds and hundreds of hours was The Great Mace w/Brags roar. Hitting that 54 strength Mark and then pumping Arcane and transferring into blood infusion. There isn’t a lot of Ashe’s that will boost status affinities, plus the charge seems to do almost 3 times the base status effect. I much prefer the moveset of the great hammers to the colossals. Also. Kimo your stuff is always top notch, you still push my interest in the game. Good work as per usual
It is so good to hear from you, Matt. I hope you are doing well my friend. That sounds like a great idea, I totally looked over those roars in the past but currently, I'm playing the first build in the video in a playthrough with my friend and I'm having a blast! Also, that build you shared with me a few months ago was very organized and well thought out. I hope to include it in a video before the DLC arrives.
@@KimoChaser I forgot I ever mentioned it to be honest. I haven't played any ER in quite a while. Just love strength builds though, I always think it's funny how in these games sometimes the best way to play is the most basic.
You cannot get both talismans in the same playthrough since each is a reward for a different quest outcome. If this is your first playthrough, choose Millicent's Prosthesis first then next playthrough choose Rotten Winged Sword Insignia.
Woot! Gonna try the first one, been looking for more unga bunga, and never really thought about using guard counters with just a weapon. Would love to see a ruins greatsword centric build, always wanted to use it but could never creatively put anything together. Maybe a build for all the legendary Armaments 🤔 good work as always~ look forward to the next guide~
I honestly love that build too. I'm playing it right now with my friend and it has been really enjoyable. What I really love most about the charged heavy attack on the greatsword after casting braggart's roar, is that charging can stagger enemies long enough for you to complete the charge attack and just split them in half.
Great video. I picked up Elden Ring again a couple weeks ago after not playing since I got all the trophies in mid-2022. I did a simple STR build similar to your Iron Balls build and found it to be very powerful and good for relearning the game. I also realized you could get the Star Fist even easier than the Iron Balls if you do a wrong warp into Leyndell. The extra bleed was nice but not that necessary since they hit so hard on their own.
I totally wanted to make a mention of the Star Fist but I didn't want to include another Bleed build-up aspect. However, I want to play one playthrough from start to finish using that amazing weapon. Perhaps with Bloodflame Incantation to enhance the bleed build-up or add poison to trigger items like the Kindred of Rot's Exultation talisman. It's good that you are back man. Better hone those skills for Shadow of the Erdtree. ❤
I found a way to make the 3rd giant smasher build better I think. Instead of the charge talisman, use the kindreds rot exaltation talisman and and apply it to a poison katana with sepuku on it. Quickly apply poison with the Katana after all the buffs then buff the two giant smashers. You could test and lmk but I definitely deal more damage from a windows view
Amazing builds!! I would really like to see a build based on starscourge greatsoword, it has a great aesthetic like all of your builds. Thanks for the video
Started running a build similar to the first one to prep for SOTE. Spiked Palisade Shield and the Morning Star, with the cragblade AOW. Going for charged heavys to break stance, and when i cant do that I go for bleed procs. Wondering what you would change/add to it
Small note: You can just duplicate royal knight resolve with Lost Ashes of War instead of using Determination. Great builds, I want to try all of them!
