no, you just need to download the NONG (Not On NewGrounds) and replace the file in the %appdata% folder for Geometry Dash. To find the song, go to a website called GD song file hub and type "Arcane" into the search bar. Then, download the ID, and use a youtube tutorial to help you find the %appdata% folder with all your saved GD songs. Drag the file you just downloaded into there, and it should ask you if you want to "replace" an existing song, being the one for the level that you downloaded first. Then, reopen the level and it should play the NONG. Many levels use NONG's, and get rated too, so knowing how to download NONG's can be super helpful. If your on mobile, if you can get the Geode mod I believe? there is a Geode mod that automatically finds and installs NONG's for you- but I don't know if Geode is on Iphone. Look into it!
There is an old 1.8 nine star level called "6 sided journey" that is currently bugged and impossible. In a ball part near the end of the level, there is a slope that launches you way too high, and you die to the spike ceiling. It is possible in practice mode if you click late to get onto the slope, and then place a checkpoint near the start of the steep slope. That causes you to die at first, but when you respawn the slope works properly again. Despite this, it seems completely impossible in normal mode.

Bro 2.2 dropped literally the day of the update, how? Anyway, does ANYONE know if Ourwa by Demishio is bugged? I can't seem to do the robot slope jump at 26%, or rather it is possible but like a lot of these cases, I have to hold jump as late as I physically can I'm not even gonna finish this comment. So, I was watching Demishio's "Ourwa Update" video to learn how to play the level (because it's super strange to learn), and he was clicking right before getting to the slope and holding all the way through for a max robot jump. I tried that yesterday, but couldn't at all get the jump to be high enough, even with some weird changes to my click and stuff. So right now, as I was typing this comment, I thought to check if I can click on the very last frame to get the jump, and it worked. But of course that's not good enough, I'm not gonna rely on hitting a frame perfect at 26% on an already top 150 level. So, just for fun, I tried not clicking at all... it worked. I am so relieved that I it's actually playable and I wasn't practising pointlessly, but this really scared me. So, is Ourwa by Demishio bugged in 2.2? Yes, but in a good way. The 26% robot click is gone and you need to not click, and the "last" click at 95% is also removed, don't even worry!
Yeah that happened to Sunset Sandstorm as well. Crohn44 manually bugfixed it with an invisible block and I ended up beating it with all the new weirdness anyways.
THIS IS USING A SCRIPT WE ADDED TO THE GAME TO EMULATE CORNER CLIPS - There is currently a major bug with the script where certain blocks with orientations in the X or Z axis don't work - or corner clip you upside down. Some parts in World 1 were manually fixed to remove these orientations, but a built in - script fix would be preferable. I remember beating this when It was my first EVER list level. When It sat at 140. It became my new favorite Extreme demon EVER (At the time). MASSIVE GG. I love this level, and I'm VERY excited to see more from you! Subbed!
Yeah haha I've never had the shakes that bad before! I have some kind of essential tremor or diet Parkinson's my whole life... not diagnosed or anything. But it means my hands are very shaky by default - and get shakier if I've had bad sleep or not eaten properly. On top of that I've just always been a nervous player too so many times beating a level if I get far and die from nerves, that's it. I'm too shakey to even get anywhere near there again for the rest of the day. So Prismatic Haze, Bloodbath and Sunset Sandstorm were less a case of "getting far" and more a case of "getting so used to getting far that I no longer cared". It's probably why my attempt counts and playtime are so high compared to my peers. The stream I beat this level which I've linked in the description I basically stayed silent for a solid 250 attempts. 100 attempts from 0, then a run from 32-100. 100 more attempts from 0, then a run from 20-100. 30 more attempts and it was over. So yeah the shakes hold me back a lot and I'm bound to get plenty of comments about this reaction but honestly I don't mind. I think it's quite funny to see me rattle like a skeleton tbh!
crohn44 bugfixed the level to make the green orb clicks in the chain (6-9%) have invisible force triggers that push you up since they don't clip you into the ceiling above like they used to (This also affects Black Blizzard) He also made it so the robot slope jumps at 55% behave the same as before. I actually am using a skip there, that abused an old 2.11 bug where holding on a slope like that sends you sideways instead of up - 2.2 fixes that, but it also fixed the INTENDED way to do that whole robot section too! So crohn44 made it possible with some invisible blocks. That video showcasing all the levels being made harder or bugged or impossible (some actually got bugFIXED) I released only a few hours into 2.2. I can safely say that all of the problems shown have been addressed by either the GD moderator team, or by the creators themselves since. But due to how Sunset Sandstorm was bugfixed, many parts play differently or became actually harder- so I had to relearn muscle memory from scratch to try and beat this. However 2.2 has optimised the game so much that the upside is I could play the level on full detail! So overall it was a plus.
@@justdamian6739 In general 2.2 has optimised so many levels that used to tank my framerate before. I have a good PC, and yet levels like Reflective, Zodiac's ending, and many other Extreme Demon's can cause major frame dips in 2.11 meaning I always used to play in LDM like 90% of the time. In 2.2? I have yet to turn on LDM for any level. That's how well optimised the game is (for higher end devices) now.
