Mazda monitoring is a bit different, check out our Mazda Data Logging Guide here: cobbtuning.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/PRS/pages/359497771/Datalogging+Review+for+Mazda+Vehicles
This is a huge improvement over the plastic shroud on my 2019 Platinum which has less open area than the newer F150s and Raptors. I enlarged the openings some with a razor blade but still not quite the openness of this piece. Plus matches the coolant tank cover.
Sorry to hear about that! We'll need some additional information to help, such as a list of any DTCs that are present. Reach out to our Customer Service Team and we'll help get you sorted. - Marshall@COBB
This is probably a no, but for the AT, does this provide those users with an option to disable the 4K RPM downshift prevention when using paddles? Most know it as the "Beep" you hear when going into a breaking zone and trying to downshift to higher RPMs, but the car currently prevents this locking it at 4K RPM until a certain speed is reached. Obviously in the MT, this doesn't exist so apologies for any confusion!
Just installed today and can’t compliment the quality of the work or the sound enough. These Ecoboosts aren’t the best sounding but what y’all have done with this system is amazing.
i have a 2016 wrx premium and i am new to cars. my car feels like it has a powerband and it hesitates when im around 4k rpm and once it gets to abt 5k rpm it flys. how to i fix this? I am running stage 2 frn 91oct
Hi there! Shoot our Customer Service team an email with your modification list and ideally a data log of that hesitation occurring. With a bit of info, we should be able to point you in the right direction! - Marshall@COBB
To datalog they tell me to do a WOT in 3rd gear. Ok but where am i supposed to do this without risk of jail time? Redline in 3rd gear puts me around 105 mph.
Hey there! If you aren't a fan of the blued tips, we offer a brushed titanium version for our VW exhaust systems that will fit. One note, they are 1/2" smaller on the outlet diameter, so they would be slightly smaller than what is included with the exhaust system. www.cobbtuning.com/products/exhaust/volkswagen-brushed-titanium-tip-kit-mk7-mk7-5-mk8-gti Marshall@COBB
For a scenario, I’ll shift at 6000 RPM, and the RPM will fall around 4500-4700RPM once the upshift is completed. Would it be best to set FFS at RPM shift points or set it at the RPM in which it would continue on the next gear? I see folks setting it both ways, but which is actually the correct approach?
Correct, all maps for 2022 WRX need to be updated in order to pick up some flashing changes that reduce chances of an ECU being bricked during flashing.
We do not have plans to add a map specific to 94 octane. We often see this question in regards to 94 octane fuel in Canada that behaves more similarly to 91 octane. I recommend starting with the 91 octane maps and if things perform well to try the 93. - Marshall@COBB
Upgrading the HPFP is not required for use with our Power Package / OTS Map but is recommended for higher power applications or on older cars where the HPFP may be a bit tired. - Marshall@COBB
We don't have a video, but our Installation Instructions are very detailed. This installation is quick and can be done at home pretty easily. - Marshall@COBB cobbtuning.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/PRS/pages/2954199253/Subaru+CAN+Gateway+Flex+Fuel+Kit
