Welcome to the Nordic Watch Channel (previously Anders from Finland). This my RU-vid channel which is all about collecting watches! I'm Anders from Finland, a student watch-nut in my late 20's. I make any kind of watch-related content that I can come up with. I mostly cover affordable automatic watches, such as Seiko (a lot of Seiko 5 watches), Orient, Casio, Citizen and the likes. My goal is to help fellow watch enthusiasts, whether newcomer or seasoned veteran. I post videos such as watch reviews, watch unboxing videos, strap inspiration, state of the collection videos along with DIY tips and tricks.
I've been getting more involved in collecting watches since 2017. The vast majority of watches I've had are automatic and mostly Japanese (Seiko). Since I'm still a student, the watches I focus on at the moment are mostly watches in the affordable price-range.

I appreciate your sharing so much. just bought tools, trying to remove the straps safely, but my skill seems far from do it safely. just searched and found this super helpful how to. i already changed the straps safely thanks to your sharing knowledge. you make it really clear to understand how to. Thank you doesn't enough. Hope you have great days!
I like the video I just wanted to point out that this is not the SKX case, it's a slim case and it came out in 1978 with the Seiko 7548. The SKX is from 1996.
Great video! I’ve been wanting this watch for a while but the fear of not being able to wear it stopped me, I finally received it as a gift and tried to use household tools but that terribly failed. I purchase some tools and for about 40 minutes straight was stuck on the first link refusing to come out, after trying and trying i finally did it and the others released like butter and it now fits🥳🥳🥳
I absolutely love watches, the high end watch brands are out of my budget but the amzwatch has literally an almost duplicate of every single watch on the market . Always a great but no matter your budget.
Superb mate! I conincidentally got the last method done by myself in my time of fiddling around with the strap after I got it, and glad to see everybody agrees it's the best method. However, would this still hold the watch if one of the spring bars fail?
Hello Nordic Channel, I strongly suggest to keep the original protective plastic film as an approximate template. Purchase a screen protector film (example Palm) for phone screens etc. Then custom cut to match the watch face. I make this procedure to all my watch Casio collection, and this added protection is time and money very well spent. Thing is, Casio watches boxes must remains pristine. Awesome video presentation Top Tier Ticker!
My father gifted it to me years ago. I remember as a child I stole it from him because I loved it, so rn it has the value for me. Still, as a firefighter, I can use it if I am in normal shift attire or formal attire, but if I am going out to a fire or even a normal traffic accident I tend to leave it in the station, safe from scratches or water/dust. I learned the lesson badly ( ending up breaking the glass in a structural fire after dodging a falling wall and failing. ) so now I protect it from anything
I tried the last method. It works but I find I have to have it tight to squash the material where the loop is going the opposite to the intended design. This cause the extra layer of material to dig into the wrist where the metal keeper is and gets uncomfortable. I don't see the point of this method when you can just buy a single pass nato. The last method renders the second ply of material useless, so get a single pass.
Hey!!i have a casio vintage watch but the unfortunate thing is my wrist is just 5 inch and the watch wont fit me even after adjusting the size…also when i try to press the clasp in the extreme end near the body of the watch it wont go down….is there any way to fix this?
Your dental floss technique worked like a charm! Easy and clear. Thanks! Unfortunately, I had to reinstall the spring bars before installing another kind of strap, and in the process broke off the end of one of them, so I guess I'm going to a jewelry store for help.
Best life hack ever! Literally the only thing in the way of me liking a nato was the extra bulk in that weird place. ANNND with the added perk of only one layer of strap passing under the watch? Much thinner and less bulky. Saves the look of the watch, especially on my bulkier ones. THANK YOUUUU!!!
I have a Casio A168WGG watch and have a question about its operation. When I change modes, such as going to the alarm mode, and then want to adjust the hour or seconds, I need to press the "A" button (the light button) to make the changes. Every time I press it, the light blinks. Is this normal, or is there something wrong with my watch?
