Thank you for the tips, they're very useful. You have such a warm, angelic personality and a very beautiful calming voice. You reminded me of my step gramma a lot, she passed away years ago. Anyway, thank you again. I hope you're having a wonderful day 💗
Hello, I come from China and accidentally came across your video, which is very helpful for my watercolor practice! It's just that it's late. I saw that your latest update is also a video from 2 years ago. I'm really eager for you to update more videos, especially your relaxed drawing style and elegant temperament. I really like it and look forward to your update!
I cannot be leave how much I have learned by watching this one video. More than years in a classroom. Thank you for sharing your brilliant talent. You do so is such an understandable way to us just beginners and Those that have done this for years.
Here for part two. Thank you so much. Plus I appreciate that you showed us that even the most brilliant teacher might have a small issue. You are a lovely teacher in sketchbook content and execution.
What a lovely teacher . Your beautiful voice is like birds singing out side my studio. Then, the way you started off was incredibly helpful. You thought of everything including the use of red thread. The actual lesson of the sketchbook was brilliant. I cannot tell you how wonderful it is to learn something new. You made it pleasant and fun, THANK YOU KINDLY.
I learned so much from your video. Just discover watercolor, and I love it. Looking forward to learning more from you. You're an excellent teacher, and I am excited to be a new subscriber to your channel.😊👍
@@diannemcnaughtonpainter108 hello dianne. Thanks for your reply. I actually meant the brown glued tape that you have to wet, not masking tape. Do you have to cut out the picture, as I tried it once and couldn’t detach my paper from the brown tape? Thanks…
@@skasskass8331 I don’t use brown glued tape for that reason, the brown tape I use is brown framing tape that can be peeled off. Have a look for this tape. I don’t stretch my paper before hand, I now like to use thicker paper, 425 or 600g paper.
Love your work here! I am painting my own red berry painting and I will incorporate some of your techniques in it. Thanks so much! I appreciate your time!
Thank you SO much. Your directions were so clear and concise, especially the proper Copic stitch. I have made several watercolor sketchbooks now since finding your videos.
Excellent painting of your husband. :) Let me see if I have this right: you use the boards as templates for the size of the PAINTING, not the size of the paper. So the painting will be (whatever size you pick, say 9x12) the correct size, with room left for the border so it doesn't fall through the mat opening? I've been so confused on this and was thrilled to find this video. That's why I want to make sure I understand it. Thanks very much for the helpful tips. I've saved the link so I can watch it again.
Yes, that is right, I use boards to draw out the size of the actual painting, leaving a border on the paper that can go under the mat. So glad you found the video helpful!
Watercolor paper is cotton. You can actually iron it, spraying the back, then sandwiching it between two other pieces of paper than flattening with an iron. 😊
