Hansa is/was my favorite snare, but dang...and the toms sound beautiful in this sdx. Beyond tempted to add it. I think itll round out D&D, Fields of rock, and Hansa nicely.

@@DrewShreveDrums I am a 61 year old technosaur, still learning EZD3 and using mainly the Bandmate function. SD3 is far above my requirements and capabilities. It would be great to have just the Simmonds drums in a pack for EZD3, then do two separate drum tracks with one being an acoustic set, then mix the two sets to taste.
@@jimmcdougall9973 understandable! However, a lot of the “engineer mixes” sound absolutely incredible out of the box and don’t need much tweaking, plus all of your kits you bought on EZ Drummer still work in SD3. Totally understand being overwhelmed by it though!
Been using for a couple weeks now. And all the controls seem to do nothing, only the saturator and limiter make everything louder. The ai assistant always just going to 100% saturation on metal masters and turns the gain right up. Seems impossible to use for metal music.
Great tip! I often use parallel distortion/saturation even if its in small amounts, but have not tried to cut the sustain from it. Will give it a try! Thanks!
Awesome video! Just picked up Duality II and it's easily my favourite drum library! As I am still very new to mixing, could you give a brief description of the processing you applied to Shells, Cymbals and Master bus? Thanks in advance!
Can't get this to work. I have it all connected where it says connected in the audio sender, but when I hit play nothing is coming into ezbass from my DAW. What am I doing wrong?
