Alchemy of Pop EZX - The Making Of 

Back in the day drum libraries were mostly metal focused really glad the industry has moved towards pop and indie genres.

This expansion to me was quite underwhelming. All the drums sound super boomy and require low-cut and shaping of the low end to get it to sit in a mix. All the previous kits were mix ready. This one requires a bit of work.

this was the worst ez drummer ever - not even close - I got ripped off 90 bucks - not the drummer's fault - it was the producer - she dropped the ball - just so bad - I have lots of drum sets and add ons - I've been a EZ drummer buyer for years - this was - insulting. What was she thinking? Bad headphones? dull dull dull unusable - there drums were mismatched

So very cool! I live in Toronto and know how amazing Canterbury Studios are. I very much recognize the drum tech Mike, but can't for the life of me remember where I know him from! Great drums and great sounds! Will be buying this one for sure!

I think there's been a mistake on the product webpage - the full productions sound pretty good but the "Kit and Preset Selection" sounds are orders of magnitude lower fidelity and quality than the full production drum sounds. Almost like we're listening to solo mics on some examples, or the tom mic instead of the entire mixer. Example 4 - Swamp Preset in particular.

This pack is pretty rough.. Things are out of phase, OH placement causes weird panning issues, so many kick drum mics but none sound very good, extremely roomy that it drowns everything out. Pretty disappointing and I’d love to get a refund, but Toontrack doesn’t allow it after downloading.

Finally a chick who can do it right. That Stockholm SDX you had before, done by those Swedish chicks, sorry, but that was a one-trick pony heavy boom-boom fest with horrible overdone bass freq. Worked for one thing, but this is far more versatile and usable, actually. We need more smart girls in the studio.

Was this a DEI hire or nepo baby type situation? No hate really, but this just doesn’t sound on the level of other EZX packs. The producer Hill hasn’t really produced anyone of note. Just confused how toontrack has gone from Al Schmidt type creators to this

TOONTRACK stop making Metal drums. It's kinda boring men people doesn't like it. Make some unique acoustic drums don't just focus to Pure Metal people was fed up by that Nonsense Metal. Make EMO DRUMS Sounding Men‼️
