KNACKERS!!!! I inherited an Orange Black & Decker Jigsaw and I absolutely grew to HATE it because I could not see my line of cut and it had non of the options you got. HATE HATE HATE!!! :[ Haven't touched it for 8 months now but I REALLY need a stationary one because I have many small pieces I need to cut. Started to learn how to use chisels but it's not the same for what I want. You got a vid on stationary table jigsaws for beginners mate? I LOVE UR Dad jokes mate HAHA :D
OMG! This video is excellent! I know absolutely nothing about tools. But I’m sick of needing a man to cut my simple craft needs. I was looking at circular saws and jig saws on Marketplace. But they usually have no instructions and no/few blades. Watching your video really soothed my nervousness. I feel much more confident. Your presentation skills are excellent and the close ups of the parts of the drill are excellent. Thx so much!
Dear Uncle! For added dust collection and riving knife I picked up a Makita track circular saw (6 1/2 inch blade) with tracks and I am getting ready to use it! What puzzles me a lot is your recommendation to adjust the depth of cut to set to exceed the thickness of the material to be cut by roughly 1/8 of an inch, and yet you make a beautiful cut straight on you bench without any “obvious” evidence of scrap wood elevating the material all WITHOUT SCRATCHING your workbench top?! Some advanced trick we need to be aware of??
So uh.. this doesn't work on the new toilet anymore I'm fucked and my shits still there. We don't even have a plunger and a brush for the brush method. I'm dead. Bury me 6ft underground, toss me to a cliff, idgaf
Uncle Knackers, you’re a renaissance man! I came across this video in my search for unclogging a toilet. You walked toward the camera in all your biohazard gear and I had no idea it was you. Then the Great Reveal! Since I trust you with woodworking tips, I’m going to trust you with my toilet as well. Cheers, Mate. 👍🏼
Thank you...glad you liked it 👍 You can find those plastic window packers here: www.bunnings.com.au/macsim-75mm-600-piece-mixed-window-packers_p0164936
11 years later, and from halfway around the world, THANK YOU! I plunged and snaked for over an hour in poop water (from my wife no less) with no luck, but the dish soap and hot water did the trick in 20 minutes. And my toilet smells squeaky clean as well. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
hahaha trying to find solutions to our 2 days clogged toilet bowl, while planning to buy that plunger i search on yt first on how to unclog......and here you are dude, an on time saver!...thanks
Looking for advice on cutting two different width boards that have a 1/4” reveal notch, 1/2” from the top of both boards. First board (baseboard) 5-1/2” second board (casing) 3-1/2”. Need to match the reveal notch at a 90 degree angle.
Great project Uncle Knackers! Can I make a recommendation. I’ve been searching for “succulent planter” on RU-vid and never came across this video. So if you could add “succulent” in your tags, this video would pop up. It’s one of my favorite, especially the ink transfer part.
Thank you so much! My husband and I received a saw for our wedding and it came with zero instructions on how to put the blade on. You saved me a ton of hassle.
I’ve watched a number of videos but no one talks about joining 2x4 into 3/4” plywood or maybe 1x4 into 1/2” plywood. Videos only seem to talk about joining same thickness materials. How do you determine how to alter installations based on the second material thickness?
Mate, look up your user manual on google and find out where the blade lock is. All saws have one as you need to be able to lock the blade to change and replace it. Good luck 🤞
This is just what I've been looking for! What are the dimensions, and can they be adjusted to suit my needs? I already have a bench top that is 4' x 2'.
G'day mate...you can find the Plans to the bench here: etsy.me/3A20Sde Because this thing folds into itself....if you change one dimension it changes everything....just be aware of that 👍
That was really sweet seeing you guys going through the van. He's a very lucky guy to have a dad who would go to such an effort like that. Great series mate!
