Bro, kindly name the youtuber (electrician). I know this house, the 1st electrician answers to questions by the owner related to 110v was not impressing. Therefore I suspect there was a change of electrician 😮. It could be a recommendation mistake but we can't joke with electricity. Sorry to the owner for such huge lost.
When it comes to 110v or 120v or 240 voltage system there are two ways of doing it. First have separate distribution board for all. Secondly, after you have done the point one correctly, you can decide to go the socket-suply way or transformer-breaker way. Seeing this video as a wiring inspector based in Ghana i am not happy at all. Sorry for your lost, let us all employ the best in terms of electrical works.
Most artisans will advice you to do both wiring which will cost you a lot. Remember you will do twice the work. But you can actually do the standard 220-240v and step it down with a transformer which convert it into 110. The transformer isn't that expensive.

@@ElvisBenson I think there must be an agreement between both parties where the job done must have a warranty. Artisans will pay attention and work more cautiously if they know they got to pay back or redo any work at their expenses

please just be careful okay most of this youtube ers you see here are all building their houses, and some of them have turned themselves into contractors with no knowledge, before you use an artisan verify very well and see the kind of work he has done before!!!
