I'm a fan of the show, and wish I had been able to visit the set while it was still standing. Sadly, it's all gone now, including the grain elevator. The town of Rouleau is still there but Corner Gas is gone.
Just picked up an 09 muscle last week and it's completely stock. Those will look nice on it once I'm able to get them. Not 100% I want to get though, but I'm 99% there.
Congratulations on the bike, you’ll love it. Unfortunately these are made for the 02-06 Vrods. In order to make these work you would need to have custom mounting brackets made.
Thank you for documenting this beautiful drive. I've always loved driving up and down the Coquihalla, I miss it so much now that I've moved out east. There's nothing else quite like it here.
That’s a good tip. It might keep someone from scratching up their socks. I’m in the market for new rear shocks, any recommendations? I just put the stiffer progressive springs in the front of my Vrod. I love those. Performance over comfort if I’m leaning more one way than the other.
I'm going TRY that bcz my Rubber Oil Wrench doesn't even work for my Oil Filter 😲 Hey vridetv, would you like to come to an on-line Motorcycle LiveStream this Sat, Feb 17th at 5pm PST.?
Otay, perhaps next time. It's being hosted by "Freedom Biker Tours" on his Channel. Other MotoChannels are from B.C. are going come on-line for this LiveStream. 🏍
I really want one of these bikes. I love my Tuono but I also want something a little more relaxed that doesn't go full on cruiser/bagger. This would be perfect!
The riding position of this bike is perfectly ergonomically correct in my opinion. The handlebars pulled back & the risers are high enough for a relaxed position. The forward controls place the feet in a comfortable yet controlled position. ✅
She’s pretty…. But I think she’s a little over dressed, let her show a little cleavage. Maybe take those reflectors off the forks. Besides that, everyone knows that you’ll gain an extra 15 horse power for every reflector you remove from a Vrod. Ride safe brother, and keep the shiny side up.
This is where I grew up. My Aunt and Uncle actually owned that gas station seen at the beginning of the video, back in the 1960s. Different world back then. A great day trip is Penticton to Keremeos to Osoyoos to Penticton, The Triangle. Beautiful!
Well, I finally got back to your channel. But I'm still working on the Panhead and it's time to buckle down and get the rest of the gardens in order and finish planting. I'll be back when I'm caught up. Like getting caught up is ever possible? But I'll be back.
Has the snow melted away from the mountain tops or has it always been this way i wonder??? I live in the Netherlands and as a kid i always dreamed about escaping to the rockies, adventure, nature, exploring being free must bee my zodiac sign and too much grizzly adams movies😆
I was there 15 years ago, what a beautiful country is British Columbia . Nice to see this again . Love the people's and the highways. You are along on the world. Greetings from The Netherlands.
As a retired Wildlife Biologist, I can see both behaviourally as well as by horn diameter, angle and configuration that the adults are all nannies (females). Billies are also far less socially active (& thus usually solitary) so in fact it's a dead easy deduction! PS Antlers on members of the Deer Family (Cervids of the Order Cervidae) are grown and shed annually. Horns on Bovids (members of the Order Bovidae - the sheep 🐑 , goats 🐐 and cattle 🐄) have a single pair grown for a lifetime! 'Science Rules Eh? 🇨🇦
At about the 25:50 point of this excellent video, 'you' pass the former location of the 14 lane wide Toll Plaza. It had 13 toll booths all in the north/east bound lanes. (You were essentially paying for a round trip whether you were going one way or not.) Tolls were collected from 1986 through to 2008 and of course varied from a low rate for motorcycles, up for passenger vehicles, to single rear axle medium duty trucks, to tractor trailers, to double transport rigs (BTrains). 🇨🇦
A lengthy comment about the history of the Coquihalla Highway route from Hope to Merritt BC was posted today partly as a correction to Neil MacKenzie's claim that this section of what's now designated as a portion of BC's Highway 5 was built prior to 1972 under the government of Premier WAC Bennett. A brief history of the highway route which opened during May of 1986 (largely following the former route of the Kettle Valley Railway) is included. 🇨🇦
Thanks for watching, happy to hear you liked it. You’re going to love the Icefields Parkway between Lake Louise & Jasper. We’ve shot several videos in that area & have posted them on our RU-vid channel. 🏍🎥😃👩👍
