Flavors of Morocco is the first online cooking school for authentic Moroccan cuisine! The school offers a rich list of video courses in English (plus French and Arabic coming soon!) at all cooking levels, with clear instructions that anyone can replicate at home. The classes are taught by master chefs ("Dadas") in Moroccan cuisine, who will share with you all the secrets they have learned from their mothers and grandmothers to make authentic Moroccan meals. They speak only Moroccan dialect and are known only locally. They may not compare to western chefs in technique and finesse, but they are brilliant cooks. The Dadas are a bit shy in front of cameras, but they are fierce hard workers! At Flavors Of Morocco, it is our mission to connect with these women, index all Moroccan recipes into one platform, and make Moroccan flavors accessible to everyone around the world.
Great question! Traditional Moroccan tagines can vary by region and family recipes. While this particular recipe doesn’t include cumin, you can definitely add some to enhance the flavors to your taste! Enjoy cooking!
If you can't find the spice blend locally, you can make your own at home! We have a detailed recipe for the blend on our website flavorsofmorocco.com/. Alternatively, you can order it online from various retailers. Let me know if you need any more help!
I remember watching my mom make khobz and she would give us some dough to play with when I was little. I want to learn how to make it. We used semolina.
My favourite Aid Adha recipe is MEROUZIA, I love my country, its cousine, heritage, culture, music, history, customs, clothing, utensils, ........ everything is unique in our Morocco (the second oldest royal empire in the world after Japan) I'm proud to be MOROCCAN ALLAH, THE HOMELAND, AND THE KING, Allah bless morocco and moroccan people 🇲🇦💕
I knew it!!! 😊 I was just watching one of your older videos ,on how to make chicken tagine, and Msemen with your grandmother. 😊I’m a subscriber since 2015. I noticed you haven’t posted any recent videos. I was wondering if you’re ok. So I was glad I heard your voice 😊
@@jamijeanette1813 that is so kind of you! I am actually very active on Instagram @cookingwithalia - I post very frequently. Also I have created www.flavorsofmorocco.com in on all social media platforms to focus on authentic moroccan cooking directly from the hands of the dadas. I hope you enjoy it!
Aww my mother used to make these for me on special occasions! They're so good but much too sweet for me, I'm more of a bitter taste lover 🧡 These cookies are delicious 😋
Its missing some ingredients in the description. I followed it to the T and didn't come out how others did last year that I followed someone else's recipe (unfortunately, I didn't save it, so I got stuck finding someone else). Definitely making sure I don't follow this recipe again.
Hello! the full recipe is written in the description. You can also find a more detailed long version of the recipe on our instagram and on our website: www.flavorsofmorocco.teachable.com
this is just a preview of one of our recipes. check out www.flavorsofmorocco.com and see our courses, we give often free courses there with full details.
This is the traditional artichokes and green peas tagine, it does not have potatoes nor carrots. it is made exactly like this. For the other tagines that have multiple vegetables, it's a different recipe.
