Hello everyone! If you stumbled upon my channel through a rabbit hole, let me tell you what this channel is all about. I love picking up junk off the side of the road. I also love scrapping metal for extra cash in my pocket. One other thing I really enjoy is melting and casting metal. That's how the channel started. Unfortunately, I'm not allowed to melt metal here at the shop anymore. Half the channel content was melting and casting metal, so I had to come up with another way to create content for you all. I love collecting coins and searching for coins. Therefore, I started a new series called "Coin Roll Hunting Pennies". I buy a box of pennies from the bank every week and search through it. I show everything I find worth showing and even have a Penny Album that I'm trying to fill. I also hoard all copper cents. I still scrap metal and do teardowns on camera every week as well. Check out my channel and if you want to stick around, please subscribe. - Scrap2Cast
Parecía un buen trabajo ...pero por falta de mecanización en torno y acabado se quedó en pañales no pasó la prueba . Lastima muy mal pudiendo hacer mucho
You made your very own Copper Ingot from Minecraft! Will you try to make Lasko's 1990s box fans with butter knife shaped blades and 6-pole motors in the future?
I like the video and been scraping and making bars but no local scrap yards will buy them even with a video of me melting wire and they have a metal analyzer they said there buyer won’t take it and I can’t sell it on marketplace so I have just been keeping it in 5 gallon buckets for now
You can sell them on eBay for a higher profit if you want to go that route. If you have a large supply of them, you can look into working directly with a foundry and see if you can unload them that way. Personally I would only melt down #2 copper and sell your #1 copper as-is.
@@Scrap2Cast I also sold two lead-acid batteries from a UPS pack, they were sold for about 4000 MNT (more than one dollar) to my local scrap yard. Not much, but with bigger batteries it would be even higher.
Hey brother thanks for reaching out to me! Been so busy that I literally have no free time to do anything. I do have about 4 coin roll vids recorded, just gotta find some time to get them edited and posted. How’ve you been?
@@Scrap2Cast Good I’m glad you’re as busy as the rest of us responsible workin stiffs out here. We’ve been swamped also but I still have 12 paid days to use before the end of August so much needed down time is on the way. Told em no I didn’t want a pay out I want my time 👍👍🍻 fix the soul a bit. Be well my friend and keep up the hard work. 👊🏻☮
WOW, I didn't realize it has been over 3 months since I last saw your videos, since before my surgery. Sorry I haven't checked back for a while. I see you've dropped off some too.
@@RLWolf80 hey brother! Hope surgery went well without any type of complications. Yeah it’s slowed down a bit, sooo hot here at the shop and I have a 2nd income now so it’s been rough finding free time
@@Scrap2Cast It was basically outpatient surgery for an umbilical cord hernia that was popping through my ab muscles. Four holes, one mesh, more scars to add to my physic, and 6 weeks of recovery and I was finished. What cost the most was NOT the total surgical procedure, but the 8 hour ER visit where they decided to do NOTHING...and I did that at the insistence of my physician.
Hey S2C, some nice coins, great canadian hunt tonight , huh? Had fun watching, thank you for your work, keep going. Have a nice week, mate, see you next wednesday!
Thank you my friend! First time I ever found more Canadians than Wheat cents in a box. Hopefully next week will be better! Thanks for watching mate and have a great weekend! 🙂👊🏼🍻
Hey S2C! What a great box tonight! Sometimes the quality is better than the quantity of a box. I have a question though: What means a coin is "proof" Happy if u could explain. Have a nice time, mate, see u next week!
Thank you my friend! A proof coin is a coin minted in high relief and usually will have either a frosted or mirror-like finish. They are usually minted in lower quantities than other coins that are intended for circulation. Proof coins are struck for collectors. Have a great week! 🙂🍻👊🏼
Hey Bart long time no see! Yes those copper prices are getting up there! My buddy just cashed in some bright and shiny and got $4 a pound! Good to hear from you brother 🙂👊🏼🍻
Awesome video congratulations on getting 3.8 lbs of copper pennies and congrats on finding a 72 s proof penny and have a drink for me lol thanks for sharing s2c
Looks like it was a perfectly good receiver. Likely much better then the streamed digital mp3 garbage we have today! Which by the way, you have to pay for!
Hey S2C! Some nice Additions for the album. Cool you got a wheat cent as change in the store, really funny :) See yiou next week, have a good time till then, mate!
That bucket sure is filling up quickly. I’m actually struggling to lift it high enough to get it on the scale. Guess I need to consume some wheaties (the non-copper ones of course) 🤣
@Scrap2Cast probably getting close to the limits of the bucket 🪣 114 pounds is kinda much, watch the bale (handle) it might break when you don't need it to.
