Hello and welcome to our channel Reflective Reset!
We enjoy being out and about in the English and Welsh countryside. Come and join us as we go on some relaxing walks, take some beautiful drives and watch some wonderful views.
Our videos are free from any talking or music so you can enjoy the sights and sounds of beautiful England and Wales as if you are there with us.
This looks great but why don't they ever finish building all these castles? 🤔 Have they never heard of crowd funding? Or maybe from the heritage lottery.
It only took them an impressive 4 years to complete the castle and the walls around the town. The total cost was £15,000 which was a massive amount in 1287 but I'm sure they would have been really grateful for a bit of crowd funding or lottery help though 😂
Thanks for your comment. If you would like some further information we have two full videos on our channel about this beautiful area. Conwy Walls Sunrise Walk takes you along the walls surrounding the whole town, down to the harbour and through the main street. Conwy Castle Afternoon Walk is a complete walk around the castle with views from the turrets down to the town and harbour below. Both of these videos have lots of information in their description sections. We hope this provides you with any information you may want to know 👍
It's low tide. If you look at the start of the video you can see the sea right out in the distance. When the tide comes in it fills the whole bay and when it's out you can literally walk right across to the other side.
Finding a time where all the streets are empty is a feat in itself. I love the lighting. Your style of video seems very familiar. Do you happen to have another walking channel also, centered around the Cotswolds?
Thank you for your comment. It took a very, very early start to film the city this empty! We felt like we had it all to ourselves. We don't have any other channels, only this one. We will hopefully get to the Cotswolds soon.
Thanks for your lovely comment, we're glad you enjoyed it. We think lighthouses are pretty special too, this view is really spectacular to see. You feel it in your legs after the climb back up though! 😆
I love these quaint English villages, that are so close to the country and to walk from the woods to the coast in a short walk, Amazing. Thank you for the lovely walk.
Thanks Eunice, it was our pleasure and we're glad you enjoyed it. We are lucky here to have such a range of different places all so close to each other. It makes walking around very enjoyable and fun 🙂
@@ReflectiveReset Yes the house opposite the church with the steeple and clocks 2 The Roseries lived there from 1997 to 2006 ! It’s a lovely house. Moved to Burton Village near Neston.
Started with green hedges..like emerald, to narrow path where oak trees align, to beautiful half timbered and bricked houses, cottages with pretty doors and garden, old churces and graveyard, birds chirping musicality..all dated from 15th c or prior, to wide road adorned with old buildings and trees, traditional wooden gate, to a stunning landscape where a vast meadow meets the blue sky at the end of scattered dark clouds at the horizon..really beautiful like a work of art..this england village could make a great inspiration to write a literature, even without living in it..thank you for sharing the video..
