The original utilizes two TB-303's at different octaves, and with certain notes offset to achieve the desired effect. Josh Wink has talked about it in interviews, and there are videos on You Tube showcasing how to do it.

Does the JDXi appear as a device in device manager in windows? You may have to install drivers or set the JDXI to "vendor" in the menu....please watch from the beginning of the tutorial series if you haven't already done so

Super late to the party here, but this is actually a factory pattern on Group 1 Section A Pattern 7. Just turn the tuning knob all the way up to get the right pitch.
Every time i switch into the clownfests streams, there is too much talking and I leave.... but this set is amazingly good, watched the whole thing and loved it!
I fully rebuild the TR-8S in the Control Surface, but it not works to get any modification to the MIDI Functions. I simply can trigger the Instruments in the Piano-Roll, but i cannot trigger any other function. It does not care which Channel i choose while set the functions to the knoobs.
I honestly find this thing to be an inconsistent piece of trash that has a mind of its own. I've followed the steps to clear a patter a dozen times and it only seems to want to work when it wants to. I'm gonna sell it and buy the RD9
Any way I can CC "learn" these parameters to a Midi Controller?? Its unbelievable there is NO actual controller for ALL of the JDXI parameters availibe even in 2023. Its INSANE no one has been able to come up with a good template or Controller for this synth. If this thing has an external controller or if this was able to "Learn" CC messages this would kill many other synths on the market. The menu diving on this thing is what scares people away and rightfully so, But Im keeping mine and going to keep searching for a way to get this set up with a Faderfox to access all of these parameters.

Hmm. I just found the video after experimenting a bit. i made a 16 step pattern and then stopped it and did „Shift+ Arrow to 64 steps“ and the pattern was copied over all the other 48steps without having to manually insert the sreps- program every 16steps as you do here at 50seconds. Lucky find i guess
