Can you load custom drum sounds into the drum bank? (Like a custom mp3 or wav file)

Any way I can CC "learn" these parameters to a Midi Controller?? Its unbelievable there is NO actual controller for ALL of the JDXI parameters availibe even in 2023. Its INSANE no one has been able to come up with a good template or Controller for this synth. If this thing has an external controller or if this was able to "Learn" CC messages this would kill many other synths on the market. The menu diving on this thing is what scares people away and rightfully so, But Im keeping mine and going to keep searching for a way to get this set up with a Faderfox to access all of these parameters.

How the hell did you get it to communicate via USB?? The JDXI shows up in both midi selections for me, but the dump button does nothing, changing parameters does nothing, and reading from gives me an error. :/

What version of Windows are you using? Are you using the generic or vendor drivers and have selected the same option in the system menu on the JDXi - do you get the same result with other USB leads?

@@ThomasMatthewEvans 10, I tried both drivers and options in the JDXI system menu, and multiple USB cables :(

@@ColossusBall I’ve heard that pressing a note on the JDXi once it’s connected might trigger the communication. Also what happens if you try both the Vendor/Generic setting for the firmware?

Hi! JD Xi Manager does not save presets. "The error cannot be saved to a file. Check the file system permissions."Why? What does this mean?

Does the JDXi appear as a device in device manager in windows? You may have to install drivers or set the JDXI to "vendor" in the menu....please watch from the beginning of the tutorial series if you haven't already done so

Maybe connect it straight on your pc or laptop USB Port will help? (If you are connected true a USB Hub )
