I really appreciate the Ozempic/mounjaro topic! A lot of people in the last year have definitely bashed it for just being an easy way out and for the longest time I didn’t want to tell anyone I was on a weight loss injection because I felt semi-embarrassed or that I would get a lot of heat from people. Now I’m glad that I own up to it because it really has changed my life. I went from being severely, obese to now just hitting the 30 BMI AND I COULDN’T HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT IT. I did every diet every workout, anything that you could think of. Very happy with my results so far, not completely finished and where I want to be yet but almost there!!
I was gonna say before he even brought up sunscreen.. just fyi sunscreen may be the cause of ur breakouts! My entire 20s had no idea that’s why I was dealing w acne breakouts…
Used to love the podcast, it usually has a lot of interesting topics. Used to listen all the time but have had to less because of all the ads. The first half hour is literally just all different ads.

I have to comment on the Fairy Smut.. @Ashley - give them a chance!!! I was NOT into Fantasy until I read Sarah J Maas (like NO way to Lord of Rings.. all of that). I wanted to mention a few things I loved that I think you will too: (1) strong, kick-ass female characters - this is a central theme in ALL of Maas' books. (2) the sassy, hilarious, sexy, sarcastic dialogue between all the characters... yes.. so what they're a "fairy" and may have wings and magic. If you can look past that, you'll realize that they experience ALL of the same emotions we do as humans.. you'll laugh out loud multiple times when these characters talk to each other.. the dialogue is smart and witty. And that's what makes you fall in love with them. While it's the same genre, I honestly would not even compare them to Harry Potter - these are WAY more female-focused, sarcastic, witty, and SEXY.. Harry Potter is for kids. ACOTAR is for the strong, badass woman who works hard AF and expects nothing but the best from the people around her, including her man ;-) P.S. - the image you put up in this RU-vid episode when talking about the books is not for ACOTAR.. it's for Maas' other series - Throne of Glass (which also has a kickass female main character who I respect because she spends most of the series single, on a mission to help other people rather than falling head over heels for a guy right away..I'm telling you.. the underlying themes of these books align SO HARD with the messages that you guys put out into the world with GGE.... you may just be surprised how much you like them 🙂).
normally i could be submissive but decided to say no for once at work and it went horrible 🤦🏽♀️ i work flex shifts for amazon. i get to work 4 hours into an 11 hour shift. it was 10p when i got there, and that shift was also coming back from their first break. i get told to go to a station but come back if someone is there. the first station, someone’s personal belongings were there. I go back for another station. i get told to pick out of 6 open stations. i get to a new station, settle in. I’m loading my station with boxes of the merchanise. at this point, it’s 10:15p. two girls stop at my station and one of them comes to me and says, “this was my station before break”. I said, “I was assigned this station. i’m sorry.” Then she reapeats herself, so i repeated again i was given this station and i’m not moving. She then proceeds to put her stuff down at “our” station. her little friend comes to me and says the same thing “this was her station before break”. i said “i understand that, but i was assigned this station.” then the girl whose station it was previously says “he(the manager) knows i am here, he wouldn’t give my station away.” I said “well he did, so.” the friend asked me if i was flex, i said yes. she said “well you may not know how it works, but when youre assigned a station it’s yours after break. i said i’ve been here long enough(over 8 months) to know the rules(10 minutes post break, stations are free for all and the person who is late gets in trouble). i told them they could find another station since the manager told me there were more open. the friend looked me dead in my face and said “well she logged you out already”. I look over and sure enough THE BITCH LOGGED ME OUT. the friend had the nerve to say “i’m sorry, we’re not ganging up on you. it’s just she was here before break.” i grabbed my stuff and walked away. i told the manager and he dismissed me. then i told his manager and he didn’t do anything but he was upset. it was so stupid. i felt defeated because like what am i supposed to do ? throw a fit and stand infront of the computer so she cant log in ? no 😩😂

I love how she mentions how alot of therapists and mental health professionals just don't see it. I was in therapy and the narcissistic abuse was so evident. Looking back I always wondered why she never said or did anything. But knowing they don't receive that training now let's me know she wasn't failing. She just didn't have the information and training she needed to truly help me.
