A few assumptions I made at 19, when I met my man (18 years ago) that ordinarily, I would have walked away from: Asked for his number, he told me he didn't have a phone. Assumption 1: Fuck, how did I misread the signs? Reality: Truly did not have a phone at the time. Lol Assumption 2: I could NEVER date a Conservative who smokes cigarettes. Reality: Not all Conservatives are terrible, our core values are more similar then they are different. He stopped smoking on his own a couple years later. Now I can't wait for Thursday...🍎
