My friends gave me 2 large gourds. They are drying in my living room. I don't have a cellar. One 1 on them top got moldy. What can I do to repair it? Can I cut the moldy portion off and cover it with anything? I feel awful, I want to make birdhouses.
You don’t put pectin in your jam? I’ve never made jam before this will be the first time for me strawberry rhubarb is my favorite is the texture on this thick or is it kind of runny?
I always look forward to an opportunity to use the vacuum sealer. Bought me a big ol 50lb chamber vac sealer (vevor) last year after several dead vacuum sealers. They make these vacuum sealers with junk foam seals, designed to be replaced fairly often at a very high markup. The chamber vac sealers are built to last though. The user manual recommends an oil change after 800 hours of continuous run time 😂. It's gonna outlive me 💯 I need to get caught up on the stainless steel cookware collection like you've got, very good stuff!
I've got a food grade 5 gallon bucket full that I just started today almost 40 lb that I'm going to forget about for about 5 months. And then I'll have to can it I've only got two cans left from the stuff my mom can 6 years ago
I have a question for you. When do you plant your carrot seeds in the fall, (late august and early september) and when you do p-lant them, do they go dormant during the winter and come back in the spring?
A friend gave me seeds from a family that saved okra seeds all the way back to the 1800’s , then I’m letting them mature with some to gather seeds , I was told they have to turn brown for the seeds to have strength to use next year.
Just watching you for the first time can you tell me your location or what zone your in .I am in Indiana and want to plant garlic for the first time .Thank you for your information.
Thank you, 1st time growing gourds. I planted bowl type and plan on doing wood burning designs on them. Now I want to try different types of gourds to grow!
