You can make it better... just make center rod with pipe full of holes... Because if you clean filter opposite way than it get clogged, it's actually better than pushing dust more inside... 😂😂🤣🤣🤣
You should always wash filters lie this one from the inside out. When this filter is in operation dirty water enters from the outside, clean water leaves from the center. So instead of high pressure washer water pressing dirt into the filter as shoe here, make buy a pressure washer nozzle that allows it to enter the center of the filter blowing dirt accumulated on the outside of the filter off the filter.
Telescopic flagpole and clamp it to your fence. 🙌 or you could make a little tripod. But the telescopic flagpole is the best because it’s compact for storage. It goes to 5ft tall. And a brass high pressure hose nozzle.
I don’t need something to make it spin around. I just want some way to get the crud out of the inner pleats of the cartridge. When you see what you called stains, it’s mostly crud from the inner pleats. Invent something to help with that, and you’ll sell it, no problem!
You should know better than to post this on RU-vid and then price it at $300. At that price you are practically begging every DIY'er to make this for less than $25, which is exactly what i did.
Those filters look way better than ours like top quality... We have quad DE 100 filters but the first ones we had were sturdy but these new ones are cheaply made. Do you have any recommendations?
damn AU$460 on special! its at best $20 in DIY hardware. i'll just 3d print some tapered cups for a piece of PVC pipe and call it a day or use 2 crates and g-clamps. what your charging can get me new 5 filters
This is kinda pathetic. I've been cleaning my cartridges (same as the ones in the video) for almost 30 years. How? Remove them from the tank and take them to the nearest self serve car wash. Lean all 4 cartridges against the wall of the carwash. Set the selector dial to RINSE and get busy. You'll need to rotate the cartridges as you clean and be sure to pay close attention to the water pressure from the wand ... dont get too close to avoid damaging the bands surrounding your cartridges. And plan to get a little wet. The entire job will cost you only a few bucks and all the sludge/grime goes down the drain of the car wash. Tip: take along some newspapers or towels to lay the wet cartridges on in your car trunk.
The pricing is such that people will MacGyver their own solutions for less. Yes, you deserve a fair price for the product. If it was 75 dollars I would have bought it
I have a hard time believing that the cartridge being cleaned just came out of a working pool system. Looks like it was dipped in something. No thanks, I have my own system. In 10years of cleaning filters never have I had one like that, even letting it longer that normal.
Keep in mind that every pool encounters different types of debris. I did not doctor this filter in any way. Have a look at some of my other videos and you'll see even worse.
