The pricing is such that people will MacGyver their own solutions for less. Yes, you deserve a fair price for the product. If it was 75 dollars I would have bought it

Agree with others. Nice concept that hits all the issues with cartridge cleaning. $300!! That's just crazy! There's a video of a guy who shows how to do the same concept with a piece of PVC pipe, 2 milk crates, and a power spray wand. I did it for $25 and most of that was for the prayer.

This is a really great idea, GREAT product. Nice Job!!!! Anything that keeps my shoes dry, AND keeps the bottom of the filter out of the mud while cleaning is a win/win!

But what about the inside of the cartridge filter? That gets scummy too! Maybe you can come up with power washer adapter that can tackle the inside. 🎉

Same technique for a paint roller. It only takes me 5 minutes without it but good idea.

it seems like you are pushing some of the dirt in farther in to the filter. When I clean air filters, I always blow from the inside out. Just a thought.

I was thinking the same as you, but the faster it spins, it acts like a centrifuge, and I can see how it would, via centrifugal force fling the dirt debris outward, as opposed to driving it deeper inward. I was pretty impressed as to how it would save time, and more thoroughly clean the cartridge.

damn AU$460 on special! its at best $20 in DIY hardware. i'll just 3d print some tapered cups for a piece of PVC pipe and call it a day or use 2 crates and g-clamps. what your charging can get me new 5 filters

Only use garden hose with a good water pressure and a good nozzle

Do the cartridges have to be dry before cleaning?

No it's best to clean while still wet and they will come cleaner that way. Dry filters sometimes will not turn white again unless you use a detergent solution.

This is kinda pathetic. I've been cleaning my cartridges (same as the ones in the video) for almost 30 years. How? Remove them from the tank and take them to the nearest self serve car wash. Lean all 4 cartridges against the wall of the carwash. Set the selector dial to RINSE and get busy. You'll need to rotate the cartridges as you clean and be sure to pay close attention to the water pressure from the wand ... dont get too close to avoid damaging the bands surrounding your cartridges. And plan to get a little wet. The entire job will cost you only a few bucks and all the sludge/grime goes down the drain of the car wash. Tip: take along some newspapers or towels to lay the wet cartridges on in your car trunk.
