I started listening to this lectures. The course content appears good. But I wish the speaker could slow down her delivery a bit, so that the listener is able to absorb her words, and more importantly, the concepts.
according to postmodernists like lyotard, metanarratives reject the concepts of rationality, objectivity, and universal/absolute truth. instead, it emphasises diverse human experiences and multiple perspectives. in the context of postmodernism, there is no such thing as "absolute truth". so, yes!

You are clueless about Baudrillard, and this video is an excellent example of simulacra ... in that you are imitating to know, without knowing and especially without feeling. The meaning of the Gulf war did not take place is that it was not a war, but an invasion posturing as a war ... so the realities of war e.g. a dispute of two warring sides was absent.
