Well I never got that far because for whatever reason, I rested at the grace after giving him his second deathroot, got up, and he started attacking me.
He’s intended to do that! It’s a bit of a scare, so no worries about being confused! After a certain amount of deathroot, he turns hostile until you deal a good amount of damage towards him or by warping between several sites of grace!
When you give him around 4-6 deathroot, he goes feral and will attack you until you either damage him enough or fast travel away! It’s intended don’t worry!
So just like blaidd huh.. poor bastards born to a parasitic tree that brain washes them if they simp too hard. If the lady they serve goes siko mode and goes against the tree, the tree forces them to kill them so i can see why marika would have to betray or look like shes betraying him. Its his best out come either way but daaaam bro thru corruption of death and a parasitic tree all he could muster was a… dam bro get me some more of that deathroot
It’s so reassuring seeing how others have also gotten this glitch to activate! I was LOSING it when this happened because of how uncommon it is lmfao. Makes me wonder if it’s activated by getting knocked unconscious with a party member still alive. Hopefully you two didn’t lose too much progress and are back on the Funger grind!
THANK THE LORD!!! I was genuinely tweaking when this happened and seeing your comment puts my mind at ease knowing I didn’t have some form of moon scorched psychosis lmfao
To all those that choose the lord of Frenzied flame and not cleanse it, by the ending of whatelina said that ending will affect the dlc as she said she will hunt you down to deliver you destined death. My confessor from the very first playthrough when he meets shabriri, kills him on sight.
Im still a newbie in terms of the storyline but how is pissing off Melina actually a good thing? What does cleansing do? Will cleansing make Melina forgive you? Sorry for the noob questions.
Cleansing the flame makes it so when you complete the game, you aren’t hard stuck with the frenzied flame ending which is the destruction of everyone and everything. Cleansing it allows you to save Melina prior to using the needle and allowing a world where there is some sort of happy ending at least in my eyes lmao.
@xcal789 ahh I see. And I hope Melina won't remain pissed. I just feel bad coz she was there with us from the beginning and even gave us her horse. But I guess it's us sacrificing ourselves to be kindling so we can save her life. Thank you for this endingI will follow this for my current character.
I was happy when I realized you could save her while making sure the world isn't brought to chaos! It's a fun run too since you are doing a majority of the games content since you need the Haligtree unlocked for it!
Goldmask’s ending is pretty nice as well! I prefer Ranni’s simply for the fact she is more on the side of “free will” and allows everyone, especially the Tarnished, to find greater purpose then to be a slave to achieving a title similar to rekindling like in the Souls games!
@@xcal789 Goldmask doesnt really seem as totalitarian as others make it seem, if I understand its imposing rules for gods to actually follow so they dont go sicko mode again and restore the balance to everything they threw out of wack with their bs, whereas Ranni seems like straight up anarchy reigns
@@NotMyRealName69 My main concern with Goldmask’s ending is the fingers gaining power once more. The fingers and the greater will being tied to one another makes me believe a Marika situation could happen once more even with the perfected rune. I do love how they leave all endings pretty much up in the air in terms of clarity though, makes for really fun discussion!
Of course! Apologies for me cutting out snippets of the questlines for each of the NPC’s, I have the full locations and quest steps recorded but I overthought and cut them from the recording since I thought it’d be too much padding. If possible, I might edit this video to have the original quest line footage I made with locations or make a longer reupload in the near future!
I'm level 36 and I don't think I've ever been killed by intentional friendly fire. Although that may just be a difficulty 2 thing. I haven't run that since my first 30 mins playing the game.
I've only died via friendly fire twice 1. So that a guy could steal my flamethrower 2. After I got the flamethrower back Playing with rando's is fun but the players are less like Funny Dwarf Game (Deep Rock Galactic) and more like Funny Troll Game (Team Fortress)
Who the fuck had the idea to make the focus perk create this stupid noise every fucking time now I have to listen to this shitty crackling audio every fucking time
Deadeye is automatically activated above a 85% stamina threshold! You’ll notice it while wielding the qualified dead eye weapons as your crosshair will become tighter until you go below 85% stamina.
That’s intended! After a certain threshold of deathroot, he goes insane and will start attacking you until you either damage him enough where he regains sanity, or you fast travel to various sites of grace to reset his aggro and then you’ll be able to give him more deathroot!
