Still got this as my run around and don’t have the radio key, it’s the version that you can’t get it by holding the numbers down too. So trying to get the radio out and it’s clear the clips don’t work. Anyone know any other way of getting the radio code?
I learned today that if you top up the AdBlu while the system is warning that an oil change or service is required that will cause an AdBlu Sys Malfunction and No Engine Start warning. Solution is to clear the service warning and then the AdBlu warning.
@@poe369 you would need to order a new or second hand actuator once you have the actuator remove door card and it’s held in by a few bolts it’s a fairly straight forward job but fiddly
i got squared sony cd player/radio on my ford focus mk2 2005 titanium, my question is can buy a little bit newer radio like sony 6000 from 2008 as an example?
@@johnobrien7860 if theirs water there then would need to remove the water and find out where it’s come from as it’ll cause a lot more issues should it continue
my driver and passenger door open normally + boot, but my back two doors are still locked:( tried playing with child safety door lock, and this instruction from the video, but still no luck:(

I have a 2009 a4 2.0 and the drivers door is not opening with the remote. Have to use the key to open . The right rear door is not opening from the outside but opens from the inside please help.
How long would this usually take for a garage to carry out this repair. I have the same problem where my temperature is stuck on hot and when you turn it to cold it just stays the same. I’d buy the part off eBay if I find one but just wondering roughly how many hours labour it would be. I also seem to have a coolant leak that’s going into the drivers footwell from behind the dash somewhere. I’ve just got the car a 2012 focus and it’s just a couple of little problems it has. The coolant level has hardly dropped since I filled it up to max but it must’ve been dripping for ages before I got it as the drivers side carpet is soaked in coolant
Doing the job in this video should take no more than 30 mins to 1hr, regarding the coolant leak you would need to investigate further and see where it is coming from this could induce removing the plastic trims

Yes, thanks for help in locating the darn thing in the first place. Apart from eyes and fingers, an inspection camera might help too. Everything went fairly smoothly except undoing that bottom 14mm bolt. If you've got a small rattle gun (impact driver) it might help. Unfortunately mine were at work and trying to undo it with a ratchet (limited room) made for a pig of a job. Funny enough, reassembly took all of 5 mins! But then I knew where it all went. And it started first time. Heaven! Cheers.
Sound like your cable has come off or snapped you need to remove door car and there should be a black wire with a hook like end that needs to be clipped back into the handle on the door card or be replaced if damaged
I have similar issue I’ve tried the method on the video but didn’t work, The only time the door opens from the outside is when the engine is running and there’s someone sitting on the passenger seat and another person opens it from the outside then it will work, it will keep working for the next few minutes when the engine is turned off and the passenger is out but when you lock the doors with the remote and unlock it stops working. Please help !!!
do you know how to do it with keyless go? Should press ignition for 6 sec to get the "real" ignition on our will it pump even with a short press on the start button?
Tip for camera quality, most phones let you long press to fix the focus on a certain area, this should help with keeping the focus on the speedometer rather than it just autofocusing Great vid tho 💪
So just to clear things up as there are 2 oil pressure switches on my A5. The P164B00 code relates only to this switch, the other one would give a different code?
