For me, they like to talk too much anything but the work they are doing in your hair. I have no good experience that’s why I am trying to inform myself before. Than you for your videos.
I absolutely enjoy getting my hair cut by my coworker but that’s because she knows how I like it. I tried different salons and other coworkers but because I have pin straight hair it shows imperfections very well and so I just feel the safest with her and it’s convenient too. I was more adventurous before but it almost never worked. I don’t like making people feel bad who do my hair and she knows how to handle mine. I remember in beauty school others would tell me there were parts uneven or not blended right and I was just laughing it off because I know it’s because of how my hair is and it’s not easy to get right. Same goes with color, I do it myself because others make it either purple gray or yellow, overlap or miss spots so I bleach and tone it my own 😅
1st of all, Jamie Dana, I ❤️, ❤,❤ your tutorials! 🤗 I've learned so much from them. 😁 I just have a little trick that you may want to give it a shot. When you were 1st beginning to rinse her color, I use conditioner & massage it around like you did with the water. Idk if that's not a good thing to do but I've never had any problems. It seems to work pretty well. & I use hand sanitizer to remove any remnants. 😊
If you can’t do it yourself as a stylist. Then you should be going to a salon where you don’t work, pay full price and never tell that stylist you are a hairstylist.
Thanks for commenting and sharing your opinion! I personally think it's great to tell the stylist you're going to that you;'re a stylist, not only does it give you something fun to talk about, but you can learn from each other :) I'm glad you liked the video!
Hi ! I'm contacting you on behalf of the french production company Empreinte Digitale. Our new TV show is about to be filmed and we would like to use a short clip (only a few seconds) of your video in one scene of the second episode. Could you tell me if you agree to let us use it? Thank you so much!
Please explain why you are applying the lightener all the way to the very ends when those are already blonde. Doesn't that cause more damage to ends? Thank you for showing your techniques for us curly girls.
I’m a new stylist and this was amazing to learn from! I am so happy I found you. Thank you endlessly. It was especially great to learn how to stand out as a stylist by making sure the hairline is popping 🩷
This is one of the best videos Ive seen on partial colour, some great tips and really thoroughly explained. And the result looks amazing with so few foils. Unfortunately I can't get hold of the colour gels or shades eq, I use mainly Wella, but I can use similar colours, with the same technique. Thanks for sharing your knowledge..much appreciated 😁
This is a great question! I would still charge for a regular root touch-up (it still costs the same amount of product and gets the same result, just quicker), but for the balayage, I probably wouldn't charge for a full balayage service. I would charge for a half balayage on top of the root touch-up or I would charge the same as if I did highlights and a root touch-up, it's a similar service. Hope that helps!
Oh wow, you can apply the 10 minute hair color on wet hair? I had no idea.😮 I don’t usually get good coverage with that 10 minute color but maybe I’m doing something wrong. Thank you for your video Jamie. It’s good to see you again.
